""We have presented the first objective evidence in PFS patients
of peripheral neuropathy of the pudendal nerve which is critical for
normal neurogenic control of erection. PN_SEP abnormalities were
found in 25% of PFS patients, in spite of normal neurological examination
and no prior history of neurological disease.""

This is the thing that had me worried the most after reading that study. @mattyb @gbolduev is there a possible explanation for this that doesn't involve actual nerve damage?

The main thing is that even nerves damage is reversible.. it is.
I know it sounds weird to all of us, but even yoga, meditation, Tong-zi-gong etc is going to change your chemistry by increasing energy/eletrricity in your body and chemistry reactions occur.
I heard about different guys who recovered from such activities after being messed up from extasy pills and other drugs.
Even in Propeciahelp there was a guy who recovered by doing such activities and restoring his meridians and chacra..no lies

http://www.propeciahelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3598&p=21491&hilit=meridians#p21491

Our occidental medicine is far away and back of 50 years and do not trust and believe in such things.. you know, there is a farmaceutical businnes behind and they say:
"An healed patient is a missed patient"
But looking in a bigger picture, there are countries who use other tecnique and get health restored... even alzaimer and other illness that for occidentals is not fixable can be fixed.
And it's not about magic, it's about chemistry mechanism happening behind it... very complex to explaine but that's the way it is.
So, in my opinion if a guy has arrived to feel good and is just missing some little pieces, I wouldn't risk to take other stuff risking to mess himself further but I would wait/ or practice something like this to let my body to restore the rest missing part.

Why do you say "no actual nerve damage". I don't see any reference to no nerve damage in that quote. If there is a peripheral neuropathy then it's very likely there is actual nerve damage.

Anyway, if gbold is right and PFS is a hormonally driven metabolic disease, then it makes sense that you could see neuropathy. People with genetic disorders that affect potassium balance can also present with neuropathy.

I was just wondering if it was possible for the nerves to be fine physically, but just not function correctly for whatever reason (As in, solve that problem and they start functioning again). Apologies if I phrased it in a weird way. I hope it is reversible at least.

Nerve damage doesn't mean it's irreversible. Nerves are plastic, very capable of healing. I've seen some pretty severe neuropathies get treatment and show recovery, way worse ones than PFS where there was actual physical trauma.

Alright that answers my question, thank you! I was assuming the study implied it was irreversible. My mind always jumps to the worst possible conclusions when it comes to 'scary' things like nerve damage.

Guys, that thing about the pudendal nerve actually makes sense to me because I also noticed that I'd lost feeling around my perinium area too sometimes..!!

@Shadow It's actually kind of difficult, but easy with the slightest physical stimulation, and I do get that feeling. Why?

I can get a erection, but I dont have that feeling, when it disappeared I noticed a quality and quantity reduction of the sperm and lubrication. But when I ejaculate my muscles work just fine, the minimum pleasure that I have is from the muscle contractions, the rest is gone.

About the sensitivity, I dont think that its related to neuropathy, my sensitivity started to fade firstly on the pelvic area, them the whole body.

Guess I might as well post that I'm better than ever lol. Sex is feeling so good. Still can't orgasm from vaginal, but it still feels great (tapers off after like 40 minutes though lol).

Take heart, lads

No never got around to that. I know it's important cuz I've been asked numerous times if I have. I keep putting it off, also have no idea really how to do it and I'm busy with life at the moment ;_;

Also today I managed to cum during sex without using my hand to help me along for the first time since PSSD!

@stupidfreak Hey man. Improvement has slowed down quite a bit for a while now. I'm still at a decent spot, but I could be much better. I'm also not following any protocols or anything at the moment. The last thing I did was fast + nofap and it actually helped me tremendously! So I'll be doing that again at some point.
