I think there are also people with high cysteine. Maybe you don't have pressure on cysteine like I do. I do well on cysteine, even back then I think when we trialed l-cysteine. Could be you have different problems too.

Or and this is also a possibility is you have mercury toxicity and NAC binds poorly to mercury and cause redistribution.
Yeah so many scenario's, I do think I have pressure on cysteine or glutathione. When trialing NAC it also made my hair healthier and a bit ticker overall.

Mercury has always been on my mind but in the past during 4 HTMA's I never had notable mercury. Slight aluminum though. Mercury is a bitch to detox, could be well hidden and that's why it never showed up. Thinking about all these possiblities make me go crazy sometimes.

I wouldn't think too much just do stuff that makes you feel better and keeps your metabolism running good. When my metabolism is down I notice everything stops. So the trick is to keep it running like an engine so the body can also get rid of toxic metals and other stuff.

I don't have anything that makes me feel better really, also too brainwashed by ARL/TEI and Helen that in order to fix your body chemistry, you usually feel worse temporary and feeling good are more like stilts. Obviously not the case if you are really deficient in something and supplement it.

Worse is objective. For example I could feel good from stuff but in long term be worse off. In that sense I would feel worse but it just takes longer.

But I found that once you get over the really bad stuff, you kind of feel decent even on stuff that makes you better. But at the start yes you might feel very bad because you do something opposite of how you lived for years. I'd just patch myself up and try to detox while doing it. Especially if you don't do ARL or TEI in my opinion it's better to not take massive dosages and more like support metabolism and make sure detox is high with binders, chelators, certain minerals, what you prefer. On top of that a good nutritous diet.

I'm having a really hard time healing even minor injuries; I've even noticed that a bruise or scar remains under the skin... I think this is a sign of low overall oxygenation... is there anything that can be done about it?

Have you figured out what works for you?

I have symptoms of both fast and slow oxidizer. I think I run mainly on adrenaline.

For now I'm doing low dose chelation with ALA, eating well, coffee enemas and liver flushes. Tempting to try low dose EDTA, but got cracking joints in the past from it.

I do a simple version/low dosage of the electrolyte protocol. Then on top I stack stuff to see if it helps me. If not I bin it. For example EDTA helps me in my case. But if I felt like shit (not in a detox way but just shit) from it after using it I would bin it and try something else.

For me diet is also important. If you are a fast oxidizer and you don't eat enough you get low detox. I guess I am a fast oxidizer because I can handle a lot of heavier foods.

But often when you have problems with cysteine or glutathione you get hypothyroid type symptoms and then when you eat food it is not utilized properly. So you need to make sure your metabolism is running right first before you can add in the diet properly.

Find basic supplements that help you feel better (in a good way - there's a difference between temporarily feeling good but worse later and feeling good long term. The first one is bad and should be avoided). Make your metabolism better. Then stack more on top until your metabolism runs good consistently. And also eat a good diet so you get all nutrients in when you get there. Then once you have that locked in keep doing that for a good amount of time and you will see you get better slowly but surely.

You can probably do it with stuff like thyroid hormone, progesterone too, this type of stuff. But with hormones it's harder to do it because it will use up specific things in the body. Also same can be said for active Bs. I used Active B vitamins for a while. I don't do well on them long term. They can sometimes help if you have some sort of convertion problem but it was bad for me. I am guessing I already have decent methylation. This is just an example for what differences you might experience. For some people the active Bs are good.

If you have no clue or want something that is safe then TEI/ARL can be good if your hair is properly sent and tested. It might even be better because it's so specific. What I do is more like a nuke and I just try things out I might unknowingly mess myself up. I doubt it though. I have done it for a while on/off.

Good luck dude.
