Due to unforseen circumstances ive had to skip this liver flush for the week. Maybe not a bad thing... read below to find out more (heheh)
In other news, I have sent off my 4th hair sample for testing. Its been about 6 months since the last one.
Curiously my acne has come back on my chest and back with quite a vengeance

I'm not exactly sure if this has occurred suddenly or not - I do remember seeing a few spots a few months back, but nothing major. I haven't been monitoring because acne hasn't been a problem for me in so long. But today at the pool i was asked by my stepson what those red spots on my chest were... I had a look in the mirror after and yeah, my acne is back. Lots of spots. Some ready to pop, puss filled.
This is after literally almost 10 years of next to no acne, i now have my chest, shoulders and upper back covered in spots. At age 27. WTF. Weirdly though, i have none on my face.
I have some mock theories as to why:
1. Emotional stuff: I have been going through some stuff, almost had a 6 year break up happen (luckily dodged that bullet and we;re still together) - which has prompted me to look at a lot of emotional stuff. As a result of this, i've done a somatic massage session which is supposed to release a lot of emotional stuff
2. Oxidation change: From fast to slow? (speculation): I've had an injury from tennis, a groin strain, and in the last 2 months or so i've been unable to exercise. Essentially, i've gone from getting heavy sweating workouts 3x a week to 0 sweating. As a teenager i didn't exercise much either. Maybe it has something to do with slowing down, and building up copper / calcium and thus not being able to eliminate toxins out (or perhaps even, the eliminative organ of my skin has more pressure put on it)
3. Dietary change: I've been eating lots of dairy these past few months (cheese and yoghurt). Initially, there was not a dramatic change. But i do recall seeing some spots appear a few months ago. If it is from this, i highly suspect its from the cheese more so than from the yoghurt, since I have a real issue with butter. I think there is something in the fat of dairy that upsets me. As soon as i have butter, i can feel like an hour later or so i have ear wax and it smells funny (like butter). Maybe its only just gotten really bad because the dairy fat takes awhile to build up in my system? I dunno.. argh.
4. Liver flushes: I've done 3 liver flushes in the past few months. Has this flushed a lot of the accutane out of my system, leaving only a little remaining to keep the acne at bay? i wonder if this will show huge changes in my next hair test. I wonder also if maybe its just the huge influx of vitamin E that is causing the acne. I remember i had a mild (but noticable) flare up of acne when I started adding hemp oil to my smoothies (only lasted a week or so). Perhaps my physiology cant handle that much essential fatty acid.
So change what you can, accept what you cant and know the difference right...
From here i'm going to eliminate cheese from my diet, and very curiously examine my hair test when it comes back (it will probably be a couple of weeks... its slow here in Aus!) - my groin strain seems to be healed now so i'll be able to return to exercise for now. I think I will also put a stop to the liver flushes for the time being. Hopefully running TEI by itself with get the accutane out without causing all the acne to come back. I'll run this for the next two months. If i see no improvements, i'll also take out the yoghurt (
and be doomed to low calcium intake forever?!?! - unless of course, would the TEI supps account for this, and shift my physiology to upregulate calcium retaining so i stay balanced with low calcium intake anyway?)

I've often asked myself this theoretical question:
Would i prefer to have acne, or dry eyes? I think I would prefer to not have taken accutane, but instead have done TEI if i knew about it 10 years ago.
Unfortunately... at least for the next few months, i'm stuck with dry eyes AND acne on my body.
