Still can't make my mind up with this nutritional balancing stuff. I think the actual analysis is good, and provides some useful information, but as for the supplement regimes, I'm not totally convinced to be honest.

For example, you could have something wrong that means your body is wasting potassium, so it's low on the test, and they tell you to take potassium which increases the levels, but does that fix the underlying issue, or does it just mask it? You then re-test and potassium is higher, so you take something else to get the mineral ratios closer to 'optimum', but then further down the line potassium will be low again as the underlying issue isn't fixed, so you just go in circles.

I also don't really like how bodyweight isn't factored in either. The supplement amounts seem really high, and would be the same for someone who weights 50kg or 100kg. The test may try and guess if you're under or overweight, but it's not always correct. Mine implied overweight, but I'm closer to being under.

Don't get me wrong though, I really do hope it helps people, but I'm taking a wait and see approach at the moment.

The optimal way would be a hair test combined with blood work and working together with an expert that knows all these interactions. But this is not achievable for most of us. I think TEI is the closest we can get and at least gives me some rest in a way that I don't have to worry about experimenting with other minerals/hormones whatever. Most people who have success with hormones are mostly basing their opinions on how they feel. They may feel that they are fixed, because they feel great mentally or libido wise, but are they masking their imbalances, and how will they feel in a couple of years? It's all too unclear for me and I'm done with experimenting with random stuff, based on someone's success, while that person may have total different imbalances then I do. The only thing I might try in the end, if TEI doesn't work, is the electrolyte protocol, just feed everything the body needs over a long period.

I'm thinking what might be best on here is to get some sort of 'master spreadsheet' put together with all the key test results in for each person, like DHT, test, E, maybe even a few key things from the hair analysis like high/low copper, maybe include some key genetic traits even, and then look for trends. Red cell for something that is high, yellow for low and green in range. Helen would likely spot trends pretty quickly.

We'd need to decide on what to include (each column) - row for each user, and then someone could manage the data entry.

I reckon it would be a worthwhile exercise.

. TEI and ARL don't substitute minerals. ARL and TEI hardly even give you macro minerals.

they fix why potassium is wasted, they don't give you just potassium. that is the whole idea.

and I actually think that is the problem, since people don't eat enough of potassium. so it never get replenished in some cases after it was lost for some reason. which then gets fixed. but people still don't eat potassium

this is why Wilson says to eat cooked veggies and the program works much better.

no one gets 4.7mg of potassium a day from the diet.

"If you don't have an ocean in your backyard your hairs are fucked"
Like Helen said my hair fluctuated on cycle. I would have periods of major scalp burn and hair loss and times of slight regrowth. Each cycle, hair was getting better and better. This cycle I saw some major regrowth. I wish I had better pics from before but whatever. I posted some pics on my log of regrowth.

Hair dresser would cut my hair my hair in a way I could do a comb over and cover up the thinning in the front. This time she said I didn't need it and cut it normal.

Copper seemed to help a lot.

Would it be smart to do keto for a couple months or a fast before beginning NB?

Therefore once beginning NB, you already have a pretty good baseline where your body isn’t going to be wasting potassium.

I’ve had time periods in past, specifically post ozone for like 3 full months where body just wasted potassium in a bad way. It’s no joke, it’s what makes you crash.

And what 4.7mg of potassium are supposed to do with the metabolism in general ? Do you mean we need that much so to match the high supplemental ARL, TEI program so to work smoother or we need it in general that much. I've been on supplemental potassium for 1-3 months with regular meal plan no additional ARL, TEI suppl and it gave me heart palps !

I dont think any special diet is good to do before NB.
The best is to eat like you always do. Doing anything special you dont normally do or something you dont continue to do afterwards will throw of your results. Cause even Keto already does change you.

I easily get 100x that amount in my diet :p

At which cycle did you notice regrowth? My 2nd cycle had copper in it, and my hairline got damaged even more.

Makes sense @HerrFisch .

You gotta be joking about that potassium lol.

All this in mind, I don’t agree with @Ingeno . And I’ve argued quite a bit against Helen in the past that NB is not a cure all.

NB is something of a cheat code for health. It’s not going to cure you of every single disease to mankind but it should be worked into any and every healing regimen esspecially when someone reaches some sort of a baseline.

I think your body has to be ready for it.

The problem with the post pharmaceutical community and NB is this...

Most of us are here saying “I have post Finasteride syndrome, I have PAS, I have PSSD.”

Very few of us have done extensive testing going deep to see what else could be ailing us rather than the reactions to these chemicals. Nobody knows what underlying issues they have beyond post-pharma illnesses.

I’m one of the few that says... yea I got pfs but there’s a lot more wrong in my body than just pfs.

I’ve had to narrow in on outside illnesses, get better from these (not completely, but to a degree), to see the wonders of NB.

I think most people in this community get sick from medication they took, get horrible horrible horrible advice from doctors, and are just left with this diagnosis of pfs, pas, pssd.

Whereas a pathogen load or some sort of issue in the gut or detox organs is really holding a good portion of us back from making any headway.

I’m biased due to my experiences but if you were a propeciahelp historian like I was for 7 months there too- you’d probably feel similarly to me.

It seems like (not sure as its just an idea i had) that increased adrenaline levels seem to have an effect on hairloss. Magnesium/potassium cause lower ventilation thus increase adrenaline to breathe faster = hair loss? Copper increases adrenaline = hair loss?

Also this seems kinda weird as theres special hairloss shampoo with caffeine in it (i see it all over TV)

Also a big part of it seems to be excessive sex/masturbation. I did some reading on the so called ‘nofap’ forum and people seem to have better hair growth after stopping masturbation. Im pretty sure Helen said sex causes a parasymphatic state which would again increase adrenaline to make you ventilate faster.

Just a theory though. I sometimes have my hair falling out but not all the time and not just in one spot. For me it seems related to thyroid. When i am very active and lower my carbs to moderate levels (say 100grams a day) and eat enough protein (like, 100 grams also) it seems to be a lot less or even go away.

I forgot to mention btw that Keto also caused bad bad hair loss in me. I also got grey hairs on it (im 21 lol). They went away again after i started eating more carbs.

@Helen From the pictures below they seems to be substituting minerals.

Why you think they give you copper plus when copper is in its lowest on hair test.

In the suppl there is copper and riboflavin, maybe to see if you are deficient or toxic ?

Dear all

You could have problem, which is phyisological, and this will cause potassium waste (fucked up head and neck veins). I doubt TEI or ARL will fix it. But I hope I am wrong, and by balancing minerals you can fix your physiological problems. Time and your dedication will give us answer.
Helen note that you sometimes writing wery important sentence ,,most of you were fucked before Fin, and Fin just fucked you more''.

@HerrFisch HerrFisch, Helen actually meant grams, not miligrams OK

@Helen Helen, we can clear the easy subjects, what we gonna do with the diffucult ones ?

Questions are growing, but the answers doesnt want to follow :)

The explaination what it does is clear to me personally.

I understand why some guys who are on TEI have their doubts from time to time since you can go up and down on it a lot. Last few days I had a shitty feeling and feeling down, etc. now today all of a sudden I feel better again and I feel GOOD. Not cured but GOOD. Definitely a better baseline.

I seem to experience it like this:

A bad feeling gets bigger, bigger, bigger - this can get pretty intense like depression or a fearful thought and then you hit a climax and the next day it is gone. You feel better. It is like a small problem has been solved.

In those down periods I also start thinking it does not work etc. My mind goes crazy. I explained this before and I think more guys have this on this forum, they might just not be aware of it as much.

In the big picture for me personally it seems to improve me at quite a fast and stable rate. The down periods just can be brutal sometime and it consumes your whole psyche.

It is just not a "cure" where you wake up and you feel better. Slowly all the layers get peeled off so it takes some determination and not letting yourself get crazy. You can have down periods.

After the second cycle I felt worse OFF the supps. But I thought about what Helen said that they probably made me copper deficient to fix something. So fuck it went on the next cycle. Felt better the first few days. REALLY GOOD. Then down period again after getting the flu.

But overall the trend is upward and pretty quick if you think about people fucking around with random protocols for years. If I would put my old "level PFS" to this new level PFS. You would be amazed at the difference. It is just hard to tell it when you are in it fixing this stuff.

I have an open mind if someone says "this is better" I will do that.

But right now NB is the only thing that got me out of this hole and in the times where I do not go through a retracing I feel very stable - something I was not for a long time. I was an emotional mess for a long time in PFS. I am even emotionally stable off any supplement.

Well, great that you chopped down that picture lol .

What about K, Fe, Ca, Na/K, Ca/Mg, Cu/Zn, Fe/Cu ... its not only about copper level alone. It might easily look like substitution cause copper is the only one too low.

There are several reasons for why copper is low. Does not always mean substitution is the only way.
