@Hydro its a pretty substantial discovery in health- hydrogen water. No doubt in my mind its something that needs to be investigated substantially.
Using the hackstasis perspective of taking mineral balance, oxidation, infection, imbalances, toxicities you name it into account- I see this as something that can improve oxidation, clear infections, remove toxicities but then you have to realize the body isn't going into actual "balance" that us here are seeking because one has to drink hydrogen water every day.
So sure for guys like me who have infections, who have toxicities, who have issues that need to be treated and potently at that.. sure!! Lets do a 6 month hydrogen water treatment. I'm at the end of month 2 and will fasting on it for 21-25 days beginning on 7/25/18.
The problem is- if it doesn't work that well for a person they could be stuck in a bad body chemistry and potentially addicted to the hydrogen. Maybe not actually addicted to hydrogen within itself, but rather addicted to the body chemistry that hydrogen creates for a chronically ill person. Myself being chronically ill, I have a liver full of toxins, ammonia, heavy metals, mercury, copper getting spilled into the blood stream.
So I start lowering my hydrogen intake by 50% and what happens? The stuff keeps getting spilled into my blood stream and here I am suffering from low body temp, slowed metabolism, chronic fatigue for 3-5 days. Then I raise hydrogen back to norm and I start chelating metals to have chemical depression and constipation for a few days (currently experiencing) that should subside in a few days time based on past experiences. I should feel well again in a couple days or so I'm hoping.
I'm pretty much all in on a 6 month hydrogen trial- I have the fast set up and a busy fall so I'm not going to mess with withdrawals for quite some time. .
Maybe we should have some guidelines for what we should be eating and taking for supplements for those on hydrogen water. Am I essentially a fast oxidizer because I'm running on fat all day now? Should I stop with the starchy carbs? Maybe go some sort of epi-Paleo diet rather than Okinawa?
I'm starving on the stuff. I need to fill myself with food like 3500-4500 calories a day. I'm active, but I can handle so much more food without putting weight on.
