@jinstewart Read in another thread your rash is completely gone. So happy to hear that you’re not going through the same shit I’m going through. Just had an appointment with my dermatologist today and he has given up. Just can’t understand why my scalp is so inflamed, itchy and Acne. He wants to put me on Accutane. I said no fucking way, LOL. He ended up writing me a script for something to reduce oil production in my skin.
My goodness yes, I read your thread and experience with RU a few times before deciding to roll the dice myself. It sounds like a real trial there, definitely don't envy you. Sending you my best wishes with it, hope it turns around.
My rash was noticeable on the Monday, NOTICEABLE with red face on Tuesday, BAAD on Wednesday, diminished on Thursday, almost gone Friday, barely visible Saturday, totally gone Sunday. Oily skin though returned shortly after the cycle I think, or maybe towards the end. Sleep was AWESOME when cycle finished, then a few flickers this week. I'm DEFINITELY expecting ups and downs though. Mentally, yes also been ups and downs but the trend of (I'd say) psychological improvement and feeling of wellbeing that's set in is truly significant. Like a REAL blow to the jaw for PFS.
DHT results we're STILL waiting for - I'm hoping that'll mean they're so sky high they've been kicking the machine all week, but I'm assured that's tomorrow. Tiny tiny sexual improvements too, return of very weak occasional morning wood also. But occasionally some libido too, just a little fragment.
Lots of 'character' has come back. Gym has been quite good too, although I'm not getting back again until Friday now. This might sound weird too, but I think I 'felt' low estrogen before (clicking aching joints when lifting/living) but especially from today I'd SWEAR estrogen is 'working' again.
This needs running again. I'm going to see how I feel in a month and run another set of 'pre-bloods' again, just to sanity check beforehand. That one will be 7+ days at 1.1g /day. I might also have found a reliable source of mifepristone powder, which (if this pans out) would mean you'd get a whole cycle done for <$180. I'll keep you folks posted.
Thanks everyone. No huge updates but my quality of life has certainly improved, and PFS just took a BIGGG knock! Let's hope this all sticks and we learn a few things.
