I know this isn't normal health, but is it possible to eat around 500-1000 above what you think is possible?
Slightly bad "set point" occurred to me... and at 25 or so, I ate 6 weeks, increasing 300 and 500 per day each week. 6-7 weeks later I was stronger and didn't gain much fat if at all, cut at higher numbers like 2500 rather than 1500 or less and less. Now, I'm pretty extreme, but cuz of that surgery, etc... I was probably 14 and looked 16-17%. Now less, but if I ever eat way too low for 5-6 days, I just ignore diet (but eat healthy, ignoring the numbers) and it balances out.
-Since then stronger, leaner, without having to dip too low.
-I do fast crazy, but it's partly stims, and also: I think it helps mood/focus stuff... and possibly PFS. Helps gym gains, which motivates at very least.
-It's routine for me and a reward after a productive day. And changing routines fucks up a lot for me (in life).
-But with only espresso, I've done it too.
-I'm actually barely taking stims, bc of some other stuff I'm trying, and can easily eat 1-3 meals post 18hrs.
-IF you can FAST, you can EAT. And at different times need to do either one.
1800 can sustain, 2500, 3000, etc or whatever numbers, it's just adaptation. Like noise... sound. Volume at 14... play it at 10 all week, then 11 is loud.
I could be very wrong as we have different current health situations. I did get a bit more fat, but there's something to cut back to, and years since, stronger and leaner.. whether eating clean and exercising or fucking off even.
If you've eaten low cals forever.... it's safe to say it's quite possible to up it. NOT all at once. It's safe to gain or lose 1-2lb initially for most people healthily... so say 1lb, or .5lb... that's still 2 a month. 1 lb is 3500 excess calories over energy expenditure (TDEE* = Total Daily Expenditure). So 500, so 300 is playing it safe per day.
Some lady wrote a thread on BBF, it was great
But, I can't find that. This seems reasonable as well:
Nutrition
After training fasted, and then eating meals for 21 days not so bad... Easy to do.
In contrast, forcing myself to eat a ton more probably is worse, it took me 35-42 days to make it easier part of routine and not a hassle. I had to write every meal down. Now past that point and try not to bother but did for PFS. I remember and calc everything all the time anyways.
If in doubt emulate the fattest kids you see, take some of their habits (short term!)
Man i'm gaining weight on 1800-2000 calories, so i'm keeping with that (and it's the maximum i can eat), once i see that i can't gain weight anymore i will add a mass gainer.
It's fine for me if i gain 5kg in 3 months, so i have time to raise my electrolytes with ARL (i hope it will work), because with so bad electrolytes i can't fast
