You should see some results on supps but most positives come after you are off the supps for a week or two. You should at least run the supps for a month before seeing where you are at. I like to retest every 3 months.
yes, i just read tonysoprano's log and i'm gonna read yours. i'm very scared, my anxiety is already very high, i'd say 9/10, if on tei i feel worse, i'm gonna kill myself.

Just do like Tony and take it slow on supps. Usually the main supp that causes anxiety is HCL-PLUS and you can just cut back on that one.

Yeah man, just take it slow. Your gonna feel alot better after your done one cycle. Trust me, anxiety is not a great feeling but sometimes you need to get worse to get better.

He’s on drugs. Trazodone, antidepressants. I don’t know how this is going to work with these in place.

You have to find a way to get off the drugs. If that is fasting for a month and working on bacteria in gut maybe that is needed. Have you had a stool test done? With your anxiety and mental illness from PFS, it makes me think something is hurting you deeper than just pfs itself. @Ocguy

I would agree. With any holistic treatment protocol, you’ve gotta ditch the pharma (unless critical to life) and cleanse to get a decent ground zero to start from. Otherwise you’re really just patching up broken infrastructure.

I've had 10/10 anxiety for yrs, really only Depression made me suicidal. Like depression following SNRI a bit (not much but more fatigued and depressed over having to fix my entire life... to a higher degree than almost anyone here, and I was like 21). --And of course Fin depression. Don't even do TEI while on drugs.

I don't know maybe HCL increases my anxiety but I don't notice it at all, in fact for cycling emotions, like agitation, it reduces it a lot.
*however* I did fast nearly 2 months*.
You asked me about scalp itch... --Well, that's the least of my concerns, career, money, finishing remaining pfs symptoms (not many, but not zero) is, as well as other health issues. If you're talking about depression, anxiety, and are on trazadone and also SSRI or SNRI... then why even use TEI. Not saying this to be a dick. The only drugs i use are for memory, and I'm trying to do 4-5mo without them for more TEI. And realistically I went 18-20mo with jack all including coffee while suffering with PFS and post refeed and this and that.

If critical to life, then yes of course stay on it. BUT* Fasting -- destroyed (thank god) derealization, severe anxiety, suicidality, no personality, not as sharp in speaking, writing, and non confidence in solving this (pfs). And yes, of course I mean fasting without drugs and without tei. TEI isn't harsh to me, bc of all the other stuff done (of course).

Nofap 90days, look good, workout daily, meet people >>>>>> any anxiety drug. And anxiety is like 1/10 my normal psyche symptoms, so... it should be possible.
BUT again* I am not telling you to go off of medicine if it is life saving/ I cannot make that call, and would hate to make the wrong one for you or anyone (Sonic).

I've had anxiety since before PFS and so I have become quite good at dealing with it. The biggest thing TEI has taught me se far is that anxiety is a chemical reaction.

I used to get so anxious about anything and then be all hung up on it and think "why am I anxious? why can't I be happy?". I then learned it's possible to be both. I will probably always have some anxiety no matter how long I do TEI. The important thing to learn to master is realizing when your a feeling anxious, accepting it and then separating it from reality. Now when I feel that terrible wave of anxiety get triggered, I can say "hey I'm gonna feel Alittle anxious for a while, but that doesn't mean I'm not enjoying what I am doing right now." Once you are able to separate anxiety from reality, it gets so much better.

@tonysoprano my anxiety is debilitating, i can't even breath, sometimes.

i'm trying to shut down escitalopram but it's a hard and long road. i'm reducing it with the help of my psychistraist. I used to take 1 pill of 0,5mg for two days then no pill and then again: this for 1 week. Then, i took 1 pill of 0,5mg on alternate days and anxiety came back. My psychiatrist says that 0,5mg is a so ridiculous amount that i could even shut it down. Btw, is the anxiety due to the reduction of the drug? is it food? I know that i cannot eat grains and milk and cheese and cured meat and sugar anymore. If i do it, i get panic attacks! Should i shut down fruit too? And what should i eat then? Nothing?

As for the trazodone. I need it to sleep. You say that i cannot do tei if i'm on drugs. But if i don't do tei or something else to heal, maybe, i'll never go back to sleep. Is a vicious cycle. How do i stop it?

@bruschi11 , i know when my feelings are poison-induced and when thei're not and this is not the case, this is pfs. my anxiety, so high, is not psychological.

So, summarizing:
1. i'm slowly eliminating escitalopram and taking ridiculous amounts of it (my psychiatrist says);
2. i need trazodone to sleep. I need to heal to stop trazodone. I need to fast or go tei to heal. I cannot fast nor go tei cause i need trazodone to sleep. How do i stop this?

What happens if i go on tei while i'm on drugs?

PFS can give you body dysmorphia, like in your case, but it's irresponsible to say that bone loss in PFS isn't real. I can put two photos side-by-side from today and two years ago and weaker jaw, chin, and cheeks are very apparent. I also have to keep a beard so it's not as noticeable. And in the case of @Slayo it was very dramatic - I believe he has shared pictures privately with some and I've heard there is no question that bone structure clearly changed. We don't want to fearmonger, and remineralization is possible, but it also doesn't help anyone to be in denial about this very real symptom.

God, I have the same before after pics.. it's fucking brutal.. literally 1 year apart aged 10 years, massive fat loss and definitive one loss, thankfully I bounced back some, but I also put on 15 pounds overall. If I get back to 200lb, who knows

Man, this is tough. Once you go on psych drugs all bets are off.. I would taper down regardless how it feels , just trust the process and do Dead Sea salt baths 3 days a week, (that will calm your system down) take long walks and some dry sauna.. all you should be thinking about right now is detoxing the most natural and most gentle way possible..

every gdam pharmacy drug is poison in one way or another. I'm off thyroid meds (thanks @Helen ) and finally coming out of my chronic fatigue funk.. back on track.

If u want to take something for detox I would start with activated charcoal.. you won't react and it will pick up some toxins and carry it out

i have a terrible skin and fat loss. i'm happy to hear that we can have our face back.

Btw, i can't taper off drugs soon, i feel terrible. And the vicious cycle of the sleep med remains...

Like that old Book (Check it out: Claire Weeks -- Feel the Fear and Do It Anyways). I've been there. ... wish it was only anxiety... its anx and add and a lot all at once... worsened early 20s and beyond. --part of my life, but felt no anxiety too at times; and that was in labotomy state pfs, or totally fucked up manic state on effexor -- like not high 20mins like coke but more like months straight. Some anxiety, you need ***to live with rules and order***.

By 24 I quit Cocaine, Alcohol, Zoloft, Effexor, Seroquel, Weed etc - most of that was for anxiety.... TRUST me don't drink, etc. Etc means most drugs, they leave you WORSE off in the end... now dealing with life anxiety that is 10x more severe and an addiction. I had that too for sure after effexor (other stuff was days to weeks, and probably didn't even remember to take / fill them most the time to be honest, also didn't care). --BUT* Alcoholism... finishing that off by 23-24... that was a bitch*.

Yea @Go_faster_Sonic just do it..

The way I look I've looked at it previously when everything I'm doing goes to shit is

I'm dead anyway, fuckit. I've already been through hell with this.

Deep down you know the only way out is through it. Drop the crutches and just deal, your body is begging you right now with its reactions, listen and act accordingly

My perspective: if you need a sleep type antidepressant and you are as or nearly as debilitated as I was ( seems like you are pretty bad), get a script for mirtazapine.

Take no other antidepressants other than just mirtazapine. It may hit you hard early on and give you crazy hunger and tiredness. But that will stop.

Once on that, work with some sort of combination of working on gut bacteria, hydrogen/oxygen balance (google dr. Sircus), mineral balancing (tei), electrolytes, FASTING, Rife machine, sauna, exercise, diet... IT CAN BE DONE.

You can fix this anxiety entirely. Mine was worse than ever could possibly ever ever ever be imagined. I was so bad I can’t believe it happened to me.

Now it’s gone. Completely. It was gone after 5 months of HARD WORK July 2017 - NOV 2018. I did it. You can do it too!
