If I have the money to do the things I enjoy (theoretically), why do I need more? More is always nice, but not a requirement. Chasing money is great when it's done for the right reasons. Chasing it for status, usually relays outwardly an inner insecurity of the individual. You shouldn't have to prove anything to anyone if you're alpha and secure in yourself.

I am not sure if I totally understand the first part of your reply there, but I'm assuming it relates to influence and having someone poorer than you jailed in a corrupt system. If you're saying money can influence, absolutely, of course it can. If you're alpha, which god damn I hate using that word, you do not allow yourself to be influenced. You putting me in jail in said situation doesn't make me any less alpha - just reduces my freedom. You can also make 400M a year and be shot by a lowly thug on the streets and lose all your freedom (and life for that matter). Irrelevant.
