Bernie Sanders redpilled?
Come to France see what socialism has done

Social policy in France and the free healthcare system hasn't and still isn't taking measure to keep Merck or Roche from doing whatever they want. The leftist grandpa couldn't change a thing even if he wanted to.

Don't expect a third party to make your life better, that will never work

Describing yourself as "democratic socialist" isn't a response against being a "modern-day slave", nor is being part of any political group instead of actively working towards your financial and intellectual independence

yes like everybody in this world who just came out the womb. great question mate your on fire today
Hmm, I know you understand sarcasm since you just used it there, but maybe you can't read it? Either way, to be literal for you, it's clear that you've never had a healthy relationship with a woman, and you never will so long as you keep enforcing strict and limited roles for them in your head. Do you think any woman wants to be with a man who thinks they're not a real woman and are a bit gay if they aren't submissive enough? I know you're just a kid, but you must see how moronic that is

The Red Pill does not make you hate women. It makes you understand them better.
If that's the case, then why do so many discussions on redpill forums devolve into disrespectful comments about women? Honestly curious what you think about this.

It depends what you find disrespectful and what not. I have a high tolerance personally so a lot of the stuff I read on The Red Pill does not strike me as disrespectful. It is locker room talk. Bro talk. Plus it is anonymous so things are worded in a straight forward fashion.

The Red Pill is a toolbox. "Praxeology"and not ideology.

Some guys will react to it by becoming a dark triad manipulative "asshole" and others react to it by simply using it to better their relationship with their girlfriend or wife.

Is The Red Pill responsible for every soul reading The Red Pill? No. It is a toolbox. Not a religion. It is observations by thousands of men.

The Red Pill has been under attack for a long time now but in the end I don't see the harm at all. It is not that big of a deal to me. Maybe because I grew up knowing some of this stuff already. To me The Red Pill is like the talk you have with your friend when he got dumped by his girl. Just more written out. A way of tough love.

The pharmaceutical industry isn't socialised one bit in the UK or France, we literally couldn't socialise them without massive coordination with the rest of the EU and the rest of the West. Still the fact that doctors working in the NHS don't have as large a financial incentive to overprescribe pills has prevented crises on the level of the opioid crisis in the US. Regulations on how pharmaceutical companies can advertise has prevented a culture where patients go to doctors demanding to get put on medication they don't need. The government purchasing medicine's in bulk has driven the price of drugs down towards the cost of manufacturing the drugs, instead of whatever can be extracted from the consumer or insurer.

You don't appreciate what you have until it's gone

In the end it is about living life. You don't have to read the red pill. I like it since I analyse everything with personal dynamics. Always did. For others this talking some of these dynamics between men and women is nasty to them and they despise it. They want to go with the flow. Natural. Which is also fine. Different strokes for different folks.

Honestly after thinking about it i can see why it works. I just don’t understand the fact that theres a whole community for it. Seems when you actually act that way after reading about it, it just gets unnatural and awkward because it doesn’t come natural to you.

I think the most important thing is just not being a pushover, don’t sacrifice yourself for others and live your own life. Do what you love and don’t let others bring you down.

Vets have been kept off the street and welfare has been done effectively in countries far poorer than the USA. The major issue in the USA is that most Republicans run on the platform that government is too bloated and inefficient, which means there is no incentive for them to make these programs work. They don't genuinely believe what they preach though, they're still the party that consistently votes to keep money in politics, and will happily accept financial favours from pharma, fossil fuels etc. in exchange for government action that benefits those industries, often at the expense of the every day person.

I think you're somewhat on to something - but please don't blame the lack of the programs here working on a lack of spending. It's due to complete and total ineptitude of the individuals tasked with running the program. The GS/NH/DB (government service civilians) workforce for the most part is a total joke. 10am-2pm, golf course by 3pm, watching some form of streaming television 80% of the time. At least this has been my experience, from the VA, to the DoD, to the DoS. I've either contracted, been affected by, or deployed for any of the three organizations I've mentioned. I've been an active duty Marine, a DoD contractor, a DoS contractor, and worked some contracting in the IC - all are rampant with ineptitude.

I'm also sorry to disagree with your last statement too - the expense of the every day person is an honestly shit analogy, no offense. I pay a shit ton in taxes to support individuals who are too damn lazy to take care of themselves. I live my life day to day, taking care of myself and my family, and I have no reason to worry about it. Want to know why? Because I work my ass off and I don't accept failure as the end result. Learn, adapt, overcome - strive to be better every day. Not to sound like a self help book, but honestly, it's that simple. Will there be hard times? Sure - but learn from them, adapt from what hand you're dealt, and become a better person for it. Most people in the USA don't do that, period. That's why our society is so broken. For every successful friend or acquaintance I have, and I'm defining success here as self-maintaining, and not depending on government handouts - I have five or six that are totally depending on Uncle Sam to make it through the day. EVERY SINGLE ONE of them is due to self-inflicted, idiotic choices that they refused to pay the price for, learn for, and move on. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for helping out those who have disabilities, can't live the life that the rest of us can....... but I'm not helping out the local impoverished whore who's had seven kids by seven dads and needs me to pay for her shit choices on EBT and other bullshit.

The VA? A joke - so what did I do instead of hoping Uncle Sam will help me? Get private insurance through my job, which is great - because I bust my ass in my career to earn a position that has excellent benefits. What have some of my comrades done? The exact opposite, depend on the god-awful VA to slam SSRIs, other ADs and opiates down their mouths to keep them quiet and zombified. It's a joke and it's sad. I don't want to see another PENNY given to the government until we eliminate the mouth breathers and waste that comes through the halls of DC and down to the departments.

TL;DR - you get what you put in. Put some skin in the game and quit relying on other people or entities to fix things for you.

military, police department, fire department. All examples of things funded and ran by the government. They all run pretty good on a level that's deff not considered to be "fucked up". Privatize any one of these things and profit would quickly become more important than over all quality of service.

Most people on welfare would certainly disagree that the solution to problem of a poorly ran government program would be to cut the funding for the program even more. Funding such programs is certainly more beneficial to society than funding wars that get fucked up

A lot about Bernie Sanders is red pill in the regard that he is not brainwashed by capitalism and greed which promotes supreme court decisions such as Citizens United Vs the Federal Election commission that continue to make it legal for companies such as Merk to get around the $5000 campaign limit donation rule by donating unlimited amounts of money into super packs that promote "third party" campaigning efforts for the owner of the super packs desired law maker. This type of "legal corruption" contributes to why Merk can get away with releasing a drug to the public before proper trials are done. Merk and big pharm ends up having the law makers and the FDA in their back pocket once the congressman learn who contributed to getting them elected. The supreme court justices relied on language from the first amendment to justify their decision in Citizen's Vs United. "the right to petition the government". The logical question becomes do you think the founding fathers wanted your right to "petition the government" dependent upon how much money you have? If they heard the term "super pack" and million dollar super pack campaign donations back then they would not even know what you are talking about.

Anyone who speaks up against this type of stuff is the true hero. Trump thinks the decesion from Citizen United Vs Federal Election Commission was a great thing for our country and a lot of his supporters don't even know what a super pack is never mind the outcome of Citizen United. Instead they are living in the matrix distracted by stupid things such as guns, race sex and all these other small petty things. So the matrix red pill vs blue pill is a great way to put it. It take's taking the red pill to get out of the system that keeps you distracted resulting in you voting for people who need to divid you into groups so that your numbers mean nothing. The few that speak up against this in my opinion are the true heroes.

My man, I know you didn't say the military is well ran. LOL. I've seen that first hand. C'mon now, drive over to Fort Hood, Fort Bragg, there's TONS of soldiers sitting for 8 hours surfing their phones. Yes, there are people busting their ass and getting the job done, but that's far the minority versus the majority. It's a bloated entity that is deemed "well run" because our technology and strategy is far superior to any of our rivals. Once we lose that advantage, and China is really making strides to ensure that is happening - a lot of our glaring holes will be exposed.

And local civil government? My man those are the most corrupt places on Earth. Just the other day I read where a fire chief in a town close to mine was EMBEZZLING funds through the department. Two local sheriffs near me took funds intended for feeding inmates, cut the inmate programs to where they fed barely edible meals and pocketed the funds. Again, there are people busting ass that are doing it for the right reasons, and I have many friends who are cops or fire fighters, but they'll be the first to tell you - they're in the minority, not the majority.

TL;DR - you get what you put in. Put some skin in the game and quit relying on other people or entities to fix things for you.

I agree with your personal philosophy, we need to take responsibility for ourselves, not rely on other people if we want to live fulfilling lives. Hell that's the whole ethos of this forum. We need a bottom up values system that holds those qualities in the highest esteem.

However the choices we make in determining how our institutions are run are still massively important in determining the overall health of society. When I say that large corporations buy influence at the expense of every day people I'm talking about them buying legislation that completely deregulates the pharmaceutical company allowing them to set drug prices at magnitudes above the cost of manufacture, or legislation that increases taxes on nuclear energy relative to coal regardless of the effect it'll have on the environment etc.

Yes a lot of people are making self-inflicted idiotic choices that makes their situation worse, and more people need to start taking responsibility for their actions, but we can't ignore the role of the society at large here. If you have two countries with the similar populations, one where fast food is cheap and advertised 24/7 and one where fast food is available but taxed a bit more and advertisements are regulated to come with a health warning then the first country will on average have a fatter lazier population. Obviously the ultimate responsibility lies with the consumer, but that doesn't mean we can't take steps to make societies healthier.

Similarly if you have a nationalised healthcare system there is less incentive to overprescribe drugs like opiates, because the government buys medicines in bulk at a fixed price close to the cost of manufacture, of course either way consumers should take responsibility for their own health, but that doesn't change the fact that the way the system is run has enormous impact on the health of the society.

The people are the same all over the globe, there are good people, there are bad people. A good person will use certain knowledge to build, a bad person will use same to destruct. Women are no different than man, there are good women and there are bad women, just same as man.

I havent read extensively on the topic and this forums you guys give refferences to, but there might be as good comments as there are bad, not only bad.

Plus no women needs to be saved from the dangers of the inet forum comments, neither man..., but i havent seen anybody talking on the man side of this either. Whos gonna save all the poor man ? :)

Id even laugh if i get to know somewhere on the inet women are discussing that somewhere else there is a discussion and bad comments about some group of man and the women are actually advocating and trying to protect that bad commented man.

Bernie does not throw his supporters under the bus for pay outs. Accepting pay outs over what you believe in is a conservative trait. It's also a conservative trait to pay your self out of trouble such as paying prostitute's hush money to keep their mouth shut while you run for president. The difference here is that there is evidence to support only one of these allegations

Here is Bernie Sanders with 3 houses:
Bernie Sanders Has Three Houses: See Photos of the Latest | Heavy.com

Bernie Sanders sold out - this is even after finding out via wikileaks and Donna Brazille that the DNC had back-room arrangements with the Clintons to hand her the nomination in exchange for covering the debts from Obamas campaigns that were stagnant by 2016. These are facts, with corroborated testimony.
I don't know how anyone sugarcoats a man that preaches a 70% tax rate but owns 3 houses, and keeps all the campaign contributions. That's a joke. Al the Bernie bro's I knew in college caught wise to his act post-2016 and are not behind him anymore. We'll see how he does tho - one things for sure he ain't giving back any money he raised.

Here is a congressional slush fund for sexual harassment:
Congress paid $17 million in settlements. Why we know so little about that money. - CNNPolitics

Seems to me there's quite a bit of sexual harassment claims to go around. As far as a prostitute goes, it reminds me of something my old boss told me:
"You don't pay a prostitute for sex, you pay them to leave and shut up."

Bernie didn't keep campaign contributions to fund his personal life, where did you even get that from? That's crazy illegal and there's no evidence of it. It's fair to criticize Bernie for endorsing Hilary before the DNC, and some of his supporters did call him a sellout for this, but to say that he's buying up houses with campaign contributions is crazy. After his 2016 campaign he wrote books, did interviews, and gave speeches, which earned him a good amount of money on top of his already comfortable salary. He got paid to spread a message he's passionate about, and he's still fighting income inequality even though he has a seven-figure net worth. That doesn't make him a hypocrite.

I honestly don't think we're far off in our beliefs here, so I am sorry if you took mine as a shot, as I can be a bit abrasive - just a few things I disagreed with. There's definitely corruption and I don't like what healthcare has become. I don't believe it should necessarily be nationalized (not saying that it can't be), but I definitely think something needs to regulate it much better. I'm all for capitalism, it's great. In situations like healthcare, it's gotten out of control.

It seemed like that's what you were implying here:
Though in retrospect, very well could have. Politicians have some interesting ways they backchannel that money.
