nice bro. so we're both fast oxidizers (unless mine has changed since I crashed) maybe explains why i resonate with your posts a lot lol. 'fast oxidizer mindset'
Yeah, if the PFS symptoms are gone and your metabolism is running high that probably accounts for the sky-high Na/K. As you take in more K, your body has to balance it by taking in more Na as well.
I imagine once you go off the protocol your body will slowly return to a more balanced state. The goal is to return to a state where you don't take anything anyway, and you're probably pretty close to that point. I don't think you should do anything to try and re-balance. I think your body will balance on it's own over time.
Your phosphate still isn't super high, so that means ATP synthesis isn't super high and metabolism isn't high in the truest sense. You could always add in some phosphate rich food just in case there is a bit of deficiency there. And then go off the electrolyte protocol and maybe fast a bit or exercise a lot to get Na/K down.
decided to give ARL's suggestions a shot first and see.
Got a quick chat with gbol, didn't get to fully look over the test, but both decided to give ARL's suggestions a shot first and see. So I ordered what they suggested and will test it out.
I haven't taken anything now in like five days and my libido is still very strong. Mild fatigue still but not that bad and still a bit harder to wind down before bed.
@brix have you tried anything yet to specifically address being a fast oxidizer in the relation to PFS?
What did they rec'd?
hey Tubzy, one question that it is not clear to me:
whe gbolduev says "to tank potassium", what does it exactly mean?
Does it mean we have to rise potassium in the cell or what else?
Thank you.
Potassium dumps out of the cell. So PFS state potassium is stuck in the cell and nothing works (i.e. metabolism etc).
Do we want to "tank" potassium as in remove it or replace it in the cell?
So basically, the trial we can do is to supplement potassium and see if this is making it work again? (As suggested by the health protocol)"tank" is basically making it work. (Think of it as going up on the hair test)
If you make potassium work (tank) but are deficient in it, your potassium will be even lower than before, because it got used up. You slow your metabolism down.
If you make potassium work (tank) and supplement with potassium, you are fine.
If you kickstart your metabolism without having fuel, it will crash.

Or the other way is to follow the hairtest suggestions after having had the hairtest done, right?
Interesting hairtest @TubZy what were you eating the months prior to testing/which supps were you taking?
Do you have any explanation of why I felt better on bhetaine hcl, whey and digestive enzymes even if I did not add the potassium supplementation?Just simply adding potassium doesn't really work since potassium is already stuck inside the cell and not being used up. That is why everything that "tanks" potassium should be taken with potassium at the same time. Like @HerrFisch said, once you tank potassium it gets used up that is why you take potassium at the same time.
Betaine HCL tanks potassium (electrolyte protocol), which is why you take potassium with it. Copper tanks potassium which is why you take potassium with it. Aspirin which is an acid tanks potassium that is why you take potassium with it. If you don't take potassium with it, metabolism drops and you feel like shit.
Hair test is good because you get an idea of what your electrolyte and mineral status is.
Do you have any explanation of why I felt better on bhetaine hcl, whey and digestive enzymes even if I did not add the potassium supplementation?
Pretty OK overall I would say, but I definitely fit the description of the fast oxidizer they described in the analysis for sure. My libido is pretty high as well, morning wood etc. just still feel a little "go go go" mentality and less calmer, i.e. harder to wind down at the end of the day.
