I am still a bit dehydrated

I do too. I get dehydrated so easily, even on the program. I think my potasssium and magnesium is far greater than the sodium I consume. Especially after days I was active I get dehydrated symptoms. And they worsen my overall status (dry stools, dry lips, dry mouth, dry skin, sluggish overall).

What does sweating indicate? I’ve never stopped sweating from PFS.

Some of us stopped sweating (or have a real hard time getting it going ) along with the other pfs symptoms. It's just another indicator I keep an eye on if things in general are working or not

Now i take magnesium electrolytes i rarely feel thirsty.

However as soon as i have anything salty I feel super thirsty. I think thirst is associated with how much sodium is in the body

I have found the same. I take magnesium (& potassium) everyday and I do not drink much water at all. It is good IMO. I used to piss like a horse.

Yeah, that I think it's why I'm looking into TEI/ARL in conjunction with electrolytes protocol to see if we can speed things up

I will do TEI with SImplified electrolytes. Why change diet now, it's been a long time. Remind me where that is again? Spinach with every meal, Himalayan sea salt, Mg, K, and Cl (in salt, but the other 2 seperately if wanting higher dose). And also run I.F. and A.D.F. bc... can't change now. I refuse to buy, make, eat, sit down 3-5 times a day to eat. Does any young person even buy groceries until necessary?

***I AM Not saying anyone should do this.*** I mostly doubt it would kill me though.

Wilson himself mentions that there are several things he recommends adding to an ARL program (see below). Maybe we should just trust the program and follow his tips. I’ve tried adding stuff but it will be different for all of us.

1) EPA-DHA 300 (omega-3 fattys acids). Adult Dose: three per day or about 900 mg daily.

2) Vitamin D3. Take one 5000 iu capsule daily.

3) Kelp. Take three to six 600 mg capsules daily. WARNING: Kelp can cause a healing reaction in a few people. Always begin with just one half a capsule daily.

4) TMG or trimethylglycine. Women may take up to 1 gram daily. Men may take up to 3 grams daily. Children less than about 12 do not need this product. Endomet Labs does not sell this product.

Other optional products that are helpful for some people. Do not take these if you are in a four lows pattern:

1) Veg-Easy. This is a vegetable capsule. The dose is three to six daily.

2) Renamide. This is kidney glandular, and not primarily herbs, though it contains a few. Take three to six daily with meals.

3) Selenium (100 mcg). This is a food-based selenium supplement. The dose is up to three tablets daily.

SPECIALTY PRODUCTS TO ADD TO NUTRITIONAL BALANCING PROGRAMS

I like electrolytes + tei/arl. That’s pretty much what I’m going to emulate coming up ahead.

But only one tei dose every 3-4 days I believe. And I’m sure there will be times when I use tei daily.

When will we get an update with your anavar trial? @Herman

Helen was giving my updates, but I will give you an update so far.

I was on var 20mg a day (10mg AM and 10mg PM) for about 3 weeks. From the first dose, I felt the cortisol blocking effects but it wasn't until about 1.5-2 weeks in or so did I really start to feel great overall with energy and the urge to go out and party and shit. When I say great, I don't mean like a drug type feeling just great like normal, much more clear headed consistently, no stress at all, like loud music and stuff, bass in my car sounds awesome etc. Any hair shedding I had stopped on cycle but this didn't happen until like 1 or 2 weeks in, it wasn't right away but zero scalp itch or anything (I wasn't using any sea salt throughout the entire cycle). The only thing that didn't fix on cycle was dehydration type symptoms which @Helen thinks is from lack of B1 and/or B2 and didn't restore as it can take a while. Since no one else trialing this shit has bloods/hair tests prior and after I decided to listen to Helen and he wanted me off after 3 weeks (I was planning to come off after 8 or 12 weeks) and get tested to see what its doing.

So I'm about 1.5 week of var now. After a couple days off var got hit with high cort symptoms as expected (sweats, increased appetite, irritability etc). I got a full blood panel last week about a week off var since no one else never can actually get bloods before and after so I went around insurance and out of state for it. Should get results this week to see cortisol levels, DHT, LH etc. The cortisol levels would help us out a lot according to helen.

The trial is not over as we need to see any snap back since var is not totally out of my system yet, but the good thing is I didn't "crash" from it or make me worse after getting off so I'm optimistic that its not just a progestin like say deca. My experience is kinda similar to @IHateFin but I literally took nothing while on cycle or off just the var that is it.

Appreciate the report man! But, you are mentioning the side-effects, did you/ and do you still feel libido effects?

I’d imagine the high cortisol symptoms include resumed hair shedding/scalp itch?

There were no side effects on cycle. My appetite was super low since cortisol was blocked I was running on adrenaline and nice muscle gain. The only side effects of var is a rise in cholesterol and liver enzymes possibly, but the studies we saw at the dose I was taking there wasn't any negative sides besides T suppression.

I can't report exactly what its doing now because I stopped var but its still in my system still but slowing leaving so I'm still switching between cort and adrenaline. That is why I didn't want to really give an update yet because cortisol needs to come down before any "effect" permanently happens (i.e. cortisol gets sensitive again). But yeah, my body is in a bit of limbo right now, my libido and morning wood are still active, that is what I meant by not crashing when coming off. Random erections maybe went down a bit, although hard to judge TBH. I literally feel high cortisol symptoms, not sure if you have felt them before, but that is what it feels like, its not like just regular PFS symptoms.

I tested it originally with @Helen before I started this cycle as well when I took one 10mg dose of var and waited a week before I did the full 3 week cycle. I took that 10mg dose felt it blocking cortisol and the next night got sweats and irritability etc which is the high cortisol rebound. Then I waited a few more days for it subside and I went back to normal then I started the full three cycle. Ihatefin was supposed to do this strategy too, but couldn't contain himself lol....

yeah, hair shedding is back not super bad, but its present more now and the itch. So in my case blocking cortisol basically fixes my hair loss.

Right on. Interested in seeing before/after bloods. Thanks for the update. Got var on the way and will wait for @Helen ‘s input.

Same, we already have a girl on reddit who took var and two weeks after her cycle her cortisol was 4 times over the high range (she stopped var two weeks ago and it was still jacked up) so I'm sure mine is going to be up there given my symptoms. I should have my bloods this week and I will post them. I would do more tests way more often but my shit bag state restricts and regulates everything so I have to go out of state and pay a lot for the tests I want done not thru insurance.

I just want cortisol to fall and restore so that would fix hair loss and PFS by making it sensitive again and work properly again.

@brix if you do go on it, try and get pre/post bloods

Amazong the effects are so strong on a relatively low dosage. I saw multiple posts on body building forums where people where taking 50mg for 6 weeks and were being called pussies for not going higher or doing real AAS :D
Testing cortisol (saliva) is one of the few things that is quite easy and cheap to do here...

Yeah lol, I never got that shit was always annoying hearing it from the BB forums especially anavar only cycle because they always say to take it with test and you get called a pussy if you don't. I have ran anavar in the past at 40-50mg prior to fin but it was underground and I didn't test it so it was probably much lower than that, but you don't need that much especially with PFS etc. From a physical stand point, if I continued with my cycle at 20mg a day for 8-12 weeks I would easily be ridiculously shredded sub 8% body fat without even doing much, even three weeks in I was starting to get some nice looking muscle and veins.

I tested cortisol via bloods but also got many other hormones with it including T so we can see how much anavar suppressed me given we have my starting pre var T numbers. I could do saliva but @Helen says it can be inaccurate at times

Cool, curious about your results! Would you say this made you feel better than on RU ( like the best day on any of the two compared)?
