Helen was giving my updates, but I will give you an update so far.
I was on var 20mg a day (10mg AM and 10mg PM) for about 3 weeks. From the first dose, I felt the cortisol blocking effects but it wasn't until about 1.5-2 weeks in or so did I really start to feel great overall with energy and the urge to go out and party and shit. When I say great, I don't mean like a drug type feeling just great like normal, much more clear headed consistently, no stress at all, like loud music and stuff, bass in my car sounds awesome etc. Any hair shedding I had stopped on cycle but this didn't happen until like 1 or 2 weeks in, it wasn't right away but zero scalp itch or anything (I wasn't using any sea salt throughout the entire cycle). The only thing that didn't fix on cycle was dehydration type symptoms which
@Helen thinks is from lack of B1 and/or B2 and didn't restore as it can take a while. Since no one else trialing this shit has bloods prior and after I decided after Helen wanted me off after 3 weeks (I was planning to come off after 8 or 12 weeks).
So I'm about 1.5 week of var now. After a couple days off var got hit with high cort symptoms as expected (sweats, increased appetite, irritability etc). I got a full blood panel last week about a week off var since no one else never can actually get bloods before and after so I went around insurance and out of state for it. Should get results this week to see cortisol levels, DHT, LH etc. The cortisol levels would help us out a lot according to helen.
The trial is not over as we need to see any snap back since var is not totally out of my system yet, but the good thing is I didn't "crash" from it or make me worse after getting off so I'm optimistic that its not just a progestin like say deca. My experience is kinda similar to
@IHateFin but I literally took nothing while on cycle or off just the var that is it.
