If someone has UC, is it pretty obvious? Or would they have to get a test to confirm it?

Just a sensitive stomach. And at different times in life, stress, anxiety, ADHD, (alcohol and substances) kind of made my stomach worse. Also lots of food intolerances.
I think most of my water retention and such is post surgery related + PFS. Just covering all my bases...
Yeah it sounds like something I would have realized by now.

Honestly, stress makes my stomach way worse. I had like no digestion for months after starting and shortly thereafter quitting finasteride. A lot better now.
Not perfect but better. I think it was pretty bad during when I was on Accutane and post Effexor too. Living alone my stomach and digestion is better (except in worst states of PFS or PSSD, etc). Alone, less stress and better digestion. A different kind of stress at least.

If you have h.metals load and symptoms, adding lysine can bring Mercury into the brain. That's a problem.

@HerrFisch
Have you tried glycine or hydrolysed collagen yet?
I feel like I need it consistently to bind copper.

Lysine I can't take more than 1-2g because I get joint inflammation from too much thyroid I think.
Also the Lysine/Arginine ratio in whey protein is like 4:1, which depletes arginine eventually.
I find I have to take arginine 1-2 times a week because I rely primarily on whey too. Otherwise I get symptoms of low vasodilation and UTI.

@opiath

I was using Rice protein for a long time before I switched to whey hydrolisat and now isolate. (Switched 1 month ago)

Rice protein was in favour of Arg.
2:1 Arginine: Lysine. ^^ Looks like whey is better in that term for me.

I feel like I need Lysine to bind it, maybe its working together at best ^^.
I just found Lysine to be better as its not slowing down like glycine.
How much glycine are you using?

Are you doing fine right now?

I take a scoop of collagen (12g) and mix it with a scoop of whey(28g) in some water with 2 capsules of HCL.
I find this works very good for me.

Past 3 months have been crazy lol.
December I was convinced I was deficient in copper and I ate a lot of liver and took copper supplements.
I felt good for while but it didn't last very long.
Then in January I started taking histidine and carnosine and my hair turned bronze.
Bile also started flowing consistently as long as I keep up with histidine,lysine, glycine, cysteine, taurine & malic acid.
So yeah, I'm back to the copper toxicity camp.

Gbolduev says that low copper on hair test is never copper toxicity but I think my histidine deficiency was so bad, that copper
never made it to my hair.
Why else would it turn bronze when I started ghk?
I am certain my condition will improve when I finish with the dumping. I've already experienced some pretty nice changes.

I take similar things as you. Except KCL, Zinc and Manganese.
These make me worse. I already hyperventilate.

Just curious what your daily breakfast/lunch/dinner food staples are?

It's an old test from 2 and a half years ago when I first got sick. So it is not much relevant now.
Back then I was in a crashed state after a low carb diet with dry and brittle hair.
Now I'm sugar refed after a year on Peat's diet and my hair is strong, thick and ... kinda bronze.

@supernature
You are correct.
I'm currently high thyroid with slow adrenals.
Althought by slow adrenals I mean I am low on cholesterol and cortisol production. I've tested them several times.
I don't have problems on the side of adrenaline and methylation. I've got too much of those.

Chelating copper helps my liver produce more cholesterol but as soon as it goes up, more copper is brought from the organs to the
liver and it crashes again. I think I just need more cycles of this until I improve.
My serum copper is on the low end which means ceruloplasmin is low as well. Estrogen is over the top.
