I got overzealous on the copper + cysteine and dropped the rest of the minerals copper needs to be taken with (mag and potassium), and I think it drastically slowed my metabolism! No appetite, dry callous peeling skin on hands, dry skin on face and thinning/shedding hair.

Would you say that your skin was prone to more oiliness before the copper/cysteine? Thanks

To save answering a bunch of pm’s on this (don’t feel bad):

Copper + potassium + magnesium for a couple of weeks, then cysteine was the kicker.

When I added cysteine to this, I was what I’d call cured. No more sexual pfs symptoms, energy was good, mood good, confidence good.

I’m told selenium is a good addition to this as well.

I’m not worried about stuffing it up by trying different things as I’ve seen how fast the minerals/aminos change things for me. I’ve played around with it a fair bit already, more than what gbold would like me too. Over the last couple of months I’ve added things (like zinc) that made me worse, and been able to correct it quickly.

Been able to correct that as well by just stopping copper and I think adding a little histidine helped.

Don’t follow my advice though, gbold doesn’t always condone my experimenting...be patient. The only thing I’d say go for it is the opening post protocol in this thread.
Have you tried stopping take everything to see if it sticks?

Also could you please provide dosages for each thing you listed.

Yep, when I started to lose hair, I used to visit a hairloss forum, and there was a guy who got pubic hair transplanted to the head!!

win-win situation.

Anyway, i'm quite sure that either wuf didn't lose 85% of his hair, or his hair is very thin right now. No transplant can save such a loss

Yes, we need his help lol. I also have some retarded MPB. I'm diffusing all over MPB area, and as soon as my hair sheds, it never grow back.

Check second picture, in that blue line area there used to be a lot of hair, now there is only few ones left. but half of them dissapear like every 3 months. And on the first pic you can see my diffuse shit lol. Don't want to send top picture since it looks too ugly for myself to see

EDIT: oh, it was automatically embeded, nice. Also, added top view picture, my hair is horrible for 21yo guy. ( Idk why, but third picture is not visible on the forum, you have to open imgur ).

It is good for you to get tested, you are very young. and this is just starting. Many people on this forum would not even see hairloss here.

When I got lead toxicity , I lost all my hair . And when I use chelators now, which I do once a year. for 3 months. I lose most of the hair and it looks crazy. It is very depressing . Hair grows back. But just to tell you

When I use EDTA DMSA. for a month. and when lead goes into the blood. I get grey beard, grey hair and it starts falling out by chunks. IN 20 days it is gone.

And as long as lead is circulating hair does not grow. this is all related to metalothionine. Since it is zinc, cysteine histidine selenium copper. And when lead is in the blood , it just uses up all of those.

When lead goes down, hair grows back, takes 3 months.

So this is to show you how hair works.

I think we need to create labs and hairtest section. So we can give advice to people for their cases. Since any part of the zinc finger and MT can be screwed up. You can have too high metabolism and copper deficiency , boom hairloss, protein wasting. You have too slow metabolism , and you have histamine and candida problems. hair loss.

I can see only 2 pictures here. Are you a fast oxidizer?

Link to third picture - I don't know, haven't taken any tests yet.

I really appreciate you spending your time here and helping others. But there are so many protocols that it is hard to understand which one to take. Also, there are different kind of hair loses ( receding, diffusing...) So some hairtest section would definitely help.

I am not 100% sure but it seems to be similar to my type of hairloss. I started shedding from te top of the head, not crown not temples but that middle part. And further I started shedding on the whole area. Don't worry there is a solution somewhere and we are close to it

are you sure about that? Because i'm quite sure that I started shedding all over the MPB area, just that it is more visible on top of the head. Could be same with you. Do you have anyone with MPB in your family?

How does this relate to those with hair loss from high calcium/hyperparathyroidism? Would correcting zinc finger help here as well?
