Copper

this is why I told you it is not just deficiencies, it is probably some problems with heavy metals or hormones regulation or amino acids, or vitamins which causes all of this.
But every case is different.

may be something with histidine.

may be MT is too high .

Some like high adrenaline, high cortisol, high MT, low zinc, copper wont be used as proper. My low hair copper is same value of 1 or below, but what is converted by 3B hsd (NAD) from the hormones is on lower end of range, which matches pyroluria and the loss of zinc in general.

it could be from acetylcholine problem, from aluminum for instance

People have all different bodychemistries.

My hair aluminum was sky high on the first hair test that I did. It dropped on the second and third tests but it's still there. You can see it all on my pages.

I should mention I didn't follow TEI between the 1st and 3rd tests. I just lowered my antiperspirant use a lot and took a silica supp a couple of times. I have no idea if that's what lowered my aluminum.

But anyway I still have aluminum in my hair so it's not all gone.

Nope, testosterone and estrogen are on the low end.

Prolactin is high. Progesterone in on the high end.

I've done these tests a while ago, but my symptoms haven't changed.

can you post your program from TEI and your hairtest. and supplements which they recommended.

also things which you were taking before the hairtest.

also were you taking copper before the stool test?

@Blugrass aluminum could effect magnesium balance( it is right next to magnesium in periodic table or may be boron levels., and raise sodium levels. possibly by increasing aldosterone

then the body to fight this raises progesterone to retain potassium.

This is why i guess they classified you as slow oxidizer.

@Helen,
check out this link,

https://hackstasis.com/threads/my-hair-analysis-results-am-i-fast-or-slow.939/

you can see my three hair tests on my pages 1, 3, and 4.

They classified me as slow on the 1st test, and fast on the 2nd and 3rd.

I'm thinking that I must have done something to cause my oxidation to go high between the 1st and 2nd tests. Maybe it's the silica, I don't know. But I didn't take anything for a long time.

After the third test, I did do TEI for about three weeks, and then I did this stool test. So this copper on stool could the copper plus from TEI,

Anyways I sent a fourth hair sample around the same I did the stool test. I should get the results in the next couple of days.

So here's how it looks in order

1st hair test (slow 4, very high aluminum)
No TEI, but took some silica

2nd hair test (fast 1, lowered aluminum)
No TEI

3rd hair test (pubic) (fast 1, lowered aluminum)
Did TEI for three weeks

Stool test (high copper)
4th hair test (Waiting on results)

You can also see in my thread other things like very high RBC potassium.

So what your saying makes sense.

Should I be focusing on detoxing aluminum?

LOL you reminded me there's a Russian Steam Bath only 10 mins from my apartment. Think I'm going to try this week.

lol korean or russian are both good. There is a huge population of both near me so I have some pretty high end ones. Don't overdo it though in the sense of sitting there for hours sweating because the next day I felt pretty run down when I do it too long. But the endorphin rush right afterwards is awesome especially if you combine it with an ice plunge or cold bath. I think @Helen is right though you can definitely overdo it and drain all your electrolytes out which is probably why you could feel exhausted after sometimes.

I feel the best doing it while on TEI though I'm guessing because its helping chelate metals out via sweat and adds additional electrolytes that get wasted when sweating for long periods of time.

On that note, I firmly believe NIR/Red Light saunas work wonders. I'm doing them religiously this cycle of TEI, and I don't feel any ill effects from the supplements like I did the first time. Of course, with my luck - it could that it isn't doing shit for me this time lol. But either way, it seems to have made a difference.

interesting I never tried red light saunas. I did have a regular red light and I have used it a few times. When I used it on my face I felt pretty good but for some reason I would also get some adrenaline spike issues like afterwards followed into the next day. This was a while ago and I never tried red light sauna either.

I use near infrared red lamp by bed. It’s like a chelation type feeling I get when using it. It can beat me up if I leave it on for over 15-20 mins.

Whereas dry sauna is just overall detox I feel. I feel a lot better after a sauna.

Would love to try and see how I react to far infrared sauna.

Yeah, I mean I really feel like I’m taking nothing. It’s pretty insane versus the last cycle. Plus I’ve been using on full body mode (I spent way too much on a full joovv system lol) - nothing but good things so far.

I just did a 14 day 24 Oz veggie juice fast while taking zinc/manganese/magnesium every other night. After the fast I was racing like crazy, just brain going too fast. I realized I needed to fast another week or so on broth and using just broth now and a juice or two a day. No more minerals.

I think zinc from that first fast sped me up too much. Excess zinc leads to racing mind and excess copper leads to slowed mind. Testo speeds you up, estrogen slows you down.

I think we need to look at zinc / copper as testo / estrogen a lot more here. There’s not much acknowledgement here that zinc= testo, copper= estrogen with all other things being controlled.

My finger nails are growing like crazy on zinc. Beard growth fast.

Zinc and copper are some freakin potent minerals. So getting these right I think is as important as anything while going at pfs.

Zinc does the same thing to me too ive noticed. Faster beard growth and finger nail growth. Minerals are big for sure

A lot of zinc makes me hyper aware of everything. Very annoying to live like that. I notice every little details all the time in everything. Including women's imperfections in their looks to the extreme. Makes most women ugly. Or how people behave and/or talk. Very tiring to live in that state. Socialising also does not give any dopamine. I wanted to be alone all the time. Also get OCD and other crap from it. Kinda makes you go insane after a while.

It is similar to low estrogen from arimidex. Although arimidex had a way more extreme effect. It was that effect but x100. Wanted to stay in bed all day but could not sleep. Dry mouth. Feels like you just got hit by a train.

Vitamin E also has somewhat of low estrogen side effects but way less worse than high zinc or arimidex IMO.

This is of course in my body chemistry.

When you talk usually about acetylcholine, what do you have in mind in terms of POIS disbalances, maybe some related to the receptors ?

How you distinguish b/w induced receptor issue or pure metabolic issue of the acetylcholine disbalance ?

Shouldnt we talk about choline first and then acetylcholine ?

Edit:
You actually have talked on choline a few times i see but as slow oxi dont need it as you say you also have high acetylcholine.

Carnitine lowers metabolism. carnitine lowers thyroid hormones,

This is why when I understood this stuff, and I knew that I head LEAD problem, i DECIDED to go chelation route.

I just used ALA plus carnitine,

and EDTA etc and that sped up all my personal things.

@Helen
You say carnitine lowers metabolism but you used it with chelation of lead. Speeding the metabolism instead of lowering it isnt it better idea for chelating stuff out ?

Maybe by carnitine you meant to support some else in the body that will be of help in chelation ?

He took ALA with it, which is a metal chelator.
Not sure about Carnitine, but I think it helps with fat oxidation

These two are sold together in one pill sometimes

I know, this is from а post of his in this thread and was related to chelation.

Of course we can imagine reasons why carnitine is been taken: support fat, lessen methylation, lessen transulfuration, but a question is a question and as is seen carnitine lowers metabolism i was wondering why lower metabolism is preferred during chelation, but not fast.

It looks like everything is into pieces all around the forum and questions on contradictory topics are almost never answered.

I know thyroid slows down a bit with Carnitine. Don’t know how exactly but thats likely why.

I understand above same way, thyroid gots lowered, based on that i asked why slower metabolism is better than faster during the chalation.

The medical world, where copper toxicity is acknowledged, fights copper toxicity with dialyses, lavages, but also with activated charcoal and demicaprol/penicillamin. I'm thinking of meeting with my doctor, but my only problem is that my serum copper is within the range. Anyone has any experienced with those treatments I mentioned above?
