Get this potassium out from the cells

It has been discussed many times that fin could have caused alkalosis putting potassium in the cells.

When we see recovery stories or improvements stories we have seen people used these things mostly:

-raw foods diet
-fasting
-keto diet
-paleo diet

What all these things have in common?
They decrease insulin

Insulin is what puts potassium in the cells, by decreasing it you slowly detox all this potassium

So is the main point of this pfs about getting rid of intracellular potassium?

Well if you ask me- fasting has played gigantic role in getting better for me.

And when I put potassium into the cell with things like hydrogen peroxide, ozone--- I feel horrible.

I think most people with PFS should fast. One or two lengthy fasts a year- say one 21 day fast, and one 10 day fast. And fast once weekly for 24-36 hours. When I'm at my best and most devoted, I'll fast 36 hours one day, 20-24 hours another day leaving me with two fasting days. When I can't I'll do some intermittent fasting like beginning eating at 12 sometimes.

I don't think consistent long term intermittent is very beneficial in most cases. Not anywhere near the alternative day fasting (24-36 hours and beyond). Like if you're going to intermittent fast, don't do it every day. Maybe 2-3 times a week.

I only did keto for 3 weeks. This was when digestion was bad so I have no say. But it appears STRICT keto can have major effects in helping body detox itself undoubtedly.

If you were to ask me what to do. I'd say do ADF, with one or two longer fasts per year. Okinawa diet. But if you want to mix in STRICT keto to take place of fasting for a month or two at a time then it can certainly help. Just don't stay strict keto for too long as it can cause deficiencies.

My potassium in serum is normal. But I measured once in RBC and it was very high!
I too felt horrible for days when I drank Ozone water.

What else can we try to push potassium out?

@bruschi11 did any thing help recover from ozone side effects?

Fasting @Blugrass . Its happened to me twice now where I couldn't recover from both ozone and a hydrogen peroxide. Try a 5 day water fast if you can fit it in. There are definitely other ways of going about it. But this is only thing that worked for me. Blocking potassium.

Block potassium? I thought taking potassium was highly recommended in almost all cases? Man this forum sure has a ton of contradictions.

No man you don’t understand. We want potassium, but we don’t want our cells inhaling at fast pace. Blocking potassium means blocking it in the cell.

Fasting does this. When you come back from fast, body comes back with more potassium sensitivity. So potassium works better. And less is needed to make your body work correctly.

Pfs is more than just pottasium of course but it plays a role. I noticed when I was on a simplified electrolytes protocol, pottasium with whey protein was the only thing that made a slight impact (improved digestion and orgasms).

The true cure like @bruschi11 has mentioned is health. Water Fasting, juicing, low carb, liver flushes, nutritional balancing, healthy eating, saunas, coffee enamas, exercise, reducing sources of toxins, clean water, electrolytes, sleep, herbs, and learning to handle stress in a healthy way. These are all tools we can use to cure ourselves. I think the most important thing sometimes is to take our time. You don't want to detox to much at once. If you do start to have major detox symptoms stop what you are doing and just relax, and don't push yourself.

It's an interesting experience going through a detox and just stopping everything and feeling your body slowly find it's new balance. You get this high for a while and it's nice just to live life and enjoy it. I have gone through it a handful of times on tei.

It's nice when you find your rhythm.

Basically all great. but fasting best. keto, paleo long long run --- sure if slow 1. I think. Depends on food sources in area, cost, expertise in cooking such foods etc.
PM'd you'ze.

Hey @Slayo , to bring a kinda counterpoint to your post, one that supports my theory that I’m shockingly having to defend to some (not you, lol) , fasting increases androgen receptor density. Here’s a cool article with some proven links :

3 easiest ways to increase androgen receptors fast

So I agree what you list is related to insulin, that hormone wouldn’t be where I’d start in terms of what the underlying cause of pfs is.

I think losing fat from your diet list brings estrogen down, brings healthy hormone levels up and will certainly improve chances of recovery and overall well being.

Immunohistochemical Evaluation of Androgen Receptor and Nerve Structure Density in Human Prepuce from Patients with Persistent Sexual Side Effects after Finasteride Use for Androgenetic Alopecia

It is clear that receptor DENSITY IS NOT THE CAUSE OF PFS

I am sick of repeating this to you.

"Our unexpected observation that percentage of AR positive stromal cells is inversely related to ASEX score, suggests that patients less able to raise AR are those with more severe side effects related to sexual dysfunction. This seems to support the hypothesis that the body tries to compensate local androgens deprivation by producing more androgen receptors"

PATIENTS who are unable to RAISE ARs to insane levels have more side effects. IS THAT CLEAR FOR YOU , JOE

So if the person's body raised ARs to very high levels, he has less sides.

if the persons;s body cant sustain this AR upregulation, he has more side effects

This is why you are confused about density of the ARs and PFS.

IN alkalosis you have low potassium levels in BLOOD))

and slow oxidizers have high progesterone most of them , progesterone is trying to retain potassium and thus most slow oxidizers, have high POTASSIUM in blood

and if your progesterone level is high , then obviously potassium will be retained and you will have it low in the urine.

and have high progesterone, and low sodium, since progesterone is wasting sodium into the urine.

SLOW oxidizers have high DHT levels usually. but very high SBHG since the body is trying to bind all estro up.

This happens since GABA NDMA balance is screw up. and lack of b2 causing high calcium in blood

Which then slows down the thyroid. and increases potassium to compensate.

If slow oxidizers take K2 then and B vitamins, to improve kynurenine pathway, then this will increase

1) picolinic acid which will bind their zinc, they have high zinc in hair since it is not bound and they are losing it since they cant make picolinic acid in kynurenine pathway
2) this will decrease calcium in blood, which will speed up thyroid and the body will not want potassium anymore, and progesterone will fall and cortisol will rise
3) this will increase need for estrogen, and copper in blood will become bioavailable restoring NDMA and allergies and all other crap will go away
4) as soon as the body will want estrogen , this will lower SBHG and DHT will be released))) and with your stupid upregulated ARs , most of you will go BALD))) at least at first. until the body downregulates the ARs.

5) since you decrease calcium, this will allow the body to convert DHT into 3 adiol, which increases GABA< since GABA increases CALCIUM in the cell.
and if calcium is already high , this causes HIGH DHT in blood, since DHT simply does not convert into 3 adiol))) since 3 adiol would cause calcium to rise

THIS IS WHY WE SEE ZERO 3 adiol on tests of @wuf ZERO)))))

this is why since DHT cant convert into 3adiol we see NOT WORKING 5AR in the brain. and DHT LEVELS in CSF ARE ZERO( this is why you have upregulated AR protein levels))

This is why if your glucorindation does not work , you lose hair, since 3 adiol keeps retaining calcium)) by increasing gaba

This is why going on fin speeds up metabolism which we see in @Jack17 trial of fin.

I'm slow oxi with low progesterone both in blood and in cerebrospinal fluid.
I think is not that easy as you say in pfs, you expect a thing but when u check the reality it is different

yes, cause you cant even make it

same as on talkingant tests, his progesterone was low and his potassium in hair WAS TOTAL ZERO , and he was a slow oxidizer

and his sodium was not being lost as much since his PROGESTERONE compensation was missing

and that is because his levels of B2 in blood were UNDETECTABLE and his kynureneine pathway was not making any NIACIN at all. and thus no NAD and thus zero progesterone since you need NAD to make progesterone

and when he increased Bs, it gave him energy, and he is getting better

this is why you cant even fast))) since you have zero electrolytes. since to RETAIN SODIUM , you need progesterone))))

Since ALDOSTERONE IS MADE FROM PROGESTERONE))) and if you cant make NAD))))

then you have both low sodium and potassium )))

if you cant make progesterone you wont be able to retain sodium and potassium,

since progesterone retains potassium, then as potassium is retained. it converts into aldosterone and cortisol retaining SODIUM.

I hope this is clear to you.

I'm day 16, 8 days without electrolytes, now if i take them especially salt i feel very bad, seems the body has been able to regulate them.

But try to stay on topic, i was trying to analyse what all those strategies that have recovered people have in common, and carbs are demonised by all of them, and so i can not think about the relatiinship with insulin

when you take off CARBS, you lower NADPH production.

basically mimicking going on FIN) and it lowers calcium levels. since keto or fasting are acidic diets.

In 50% PFS cases INSULIN is zero)) insulin levels are so low, that it is like diabetes,

As I said , there might be g6pd upregulation in PFS( but I am not sure about it))

Fin binds NADPH and it might upregulate g6pd and when you go off you produce tons of NADPH.

It is a possibility.

And another possibility is because of high calcium, DHT cant be broken down into 3 adiol and this causes high DHT, and body tries to lower insulin to lower NADPH, and thus we see no 5AR in the brain and low DHT and basically diabetes in some cases, since the body tried to get rid of NADPH.

I wrote about this extensively already for weeks and about insulin

Read the posts that i WROTE for the last month, it basically outlines all these possibilities

@Slayo All I am saying that if progesterone is high and it is high in most PFS cases . then body will keep retaining potassium.

if this is a compensation for high calcium , or if this is because of LACK of NADPH ( 5ar) We dont know

According to barbaar tests, it looks like compensation for high calcium

since his calcium is high in urine.

and his potassium is extremely low in urine.

and his progesterone is high, and his DHT is high

Would low potassium on hairtest indicate low progesterone aswell?

@Slayo @Troy for instance restored cycling potassium, and had major improvement from that.

but he had high cortisol , which was causing potassium wasting. and he is a fast oxidizer

HE is restoring simply by increasing his cell potassium which then increases his hormones and lowers his SBHG.

So in fast oxidizers SHBG is raised because of potassium deficiency

and in slow oxidizers sbhg is raised because of high calcium and possible copper which causes retention of the potassium by increasing progesterone.

it indicates low cortisol or low progesterone.

usually people with low potassium on the hairtest have high progesterone but if they cant even make progesterone like talkingant, then potassium will show very low

Can it also indicate good insulin sensitivity ? Potassium being mostly an intracellular mineral , i assume that with good insuulin action low levels would be present in scalp hair .
