You mean it's just a patch?@tanedout I read some of the links you posted. Cool.
some guy took 5 mg of fin a day which is a huge dose for 5 months)). then came off and felt better.
this would never cure a PFS person.
You mean it's just a patch?
@tanedout Also if ARs were downregulated as you said in the 2 posts above, he would not feel like total crap everysingle time his DHT goes up
but he feels better when he lowers DHT. and bad when it goes back up.
So he failed to find small enough dosage of fin to keep DHT a little down all the time.
instead he takes fin every 2 weeks, when DHT creeps up
I mean...... I eat a shit ton of peanut butter.....I still feel asexual at times. I would be surprised if it were that easyAlso guys, this guys is taking peanut butter. Peanut butter is very high in tyramine and histamine.
Histamine will give you sex drive same as tyramine
this might be why he took fin and it did nothing for months. and all over sudden he feels something
In a way it's like the hair of the dog principle with booze.. basically we're all "permanently" hungover.. take a hair of booze from the dog that bit you and it makes the body come back to homeostasis.. crude analogy.
What scares the shit out of me is this would mean I would need to take dut again if i wanted to experiment..
I didn't have any issues with fin.. but dut absolutely destroyed me.. looking at old pics, even in the very beginning of starting my facial fat melted, eyes sunken in.. this was long before (2 years) the sexual sides hit.. like @MNK99 says.. ballsy as fuck..
why did it take so long to fully crash? Mine has been like a ssslow moving train wreck
It makes sense to me as well.QUOTE="hairsuit, post: 47181, member: 1569"]I have been coming here for a year now. This is one theory though that keeps coming back around. This is completely not based in fact, but it seems like in the back of our minds, something feels right about it, but we are scared shitless to try it because of what we’ve gone through. Could this be the reason it works, and sticks?: when we take it low dose (it has a flat response curve) spaced over two weeks, over time, wouldn’t it allow the AR to gradually become exposed to higher and higher DHt levels, thereby adapting to them? Over time, they would not be overwhelmed by the DHT dump, and at some point it will stick when they are used to the increased amount. Like @PFStinks did, over time his AR’s had time to adjust to the increase in DHT, and eventually stuck. I don’t know why, but it makes a ton of sense to my pea sized brain.

We are not all the same, I just talked to Melcangi by phone 30 minutes ago, he also claimed it is not easy to find a specific cure since we are all different, well he said we have different groups of people. Also, could this be an issue? Just spit balling: So, we all have different ranges of “normal” for testosterone in our bodies, right? So, someone my have a test level of 4-500, but that may be where their body’s normal level sits at.... someone else 8-900 but both of them could be living in their “normal range. Now, maybe our DHT levels are the same. Maybe one naturally has lower and one naturally higher, but when we take fin, no matter where we are on that scale it still brings our DHt levels down. So the person with super high DHT just drops to high DHT etc. but the reaction to the drug is still the same, no? No matter where we fall on the scale, when we quit fin, the AR’s are bombarded by a level of DHT higher than that they have become accustomed to, and they get overwhelmed. So is it possible we are all suffering from the same response, not multiple different cases?

Yes, so, no even reason to consider it./QUOTE]
Wuf PFstick is still taking finasteride
Helen if you do need more info, maybe something is not clear, I can be the contact point between you and Melcangi, we know each other personally so no problem to call him by phone when I need to.exactly
I think pre doing nothing 5 or so months, this could have helped me... BUT when I snapped out of it a tiny amount... and fasted and all that stuff, then it was too late. BUT maybe shortly after crashing, to ensure "crash" is not prolonged, it can be done.... for some. Seems scary. BUT definitely better than suicidal ideation 5-20months straight.
Probably...usually.
Ahhhhh. Well, there’s that. Lol.@hairsuit
FYI, many people went back on fin on propecia help forum and tried tapering off. Some crashed like you read about from doing that.
I did not read any who got cured from going back to fin, or even getting better.
I am still trying to find these people who got better
Guys who are better are still taking Finasteride it seems. or have some other imbalance like accutane, or SSRI. etc
