Ok guys, I just received my mineral test back, it is really interesting how they describe everything and my situation giving me advises or telling me to call them to have a cure.
I will soon translate it all in english and post on a new log.
I hardly suggest you to get a mineral analysis before to jump on any protocol cause I am astonished how they are describing such many things as @gbolduev did.
Wuf, what exactly did they tell you? That sounds interesting. What surprised you? Can you pleaae post the results in English soon?

Yes, now I am still at work, I will post it in 4 hours after my sport section...

Sounds good wuf! I look forward to seeing your test results and information.

I thought we solved the puzzle with the RU, do you guys have any updates>? The long trial was no good?? I guess scenes said he saw no drastic changes, good or bad.

@TubZy @IHateFin

I can't speak for everyone, but me and @Ihatefin had prolactin issues for sure which many symptoms were resolved after taking an anti prolactin, which we didn't start until being off RU for about 5-6 day or so.

@joekool actually, out of the 4 of us is still doing great he says post RU, he has been on prami (anti prolactin) which was much stronger than metergoline, which me and @ihatefin were using.

To the best of my knowledge, @scenes never used anything anti prolactin yet and nothing has stuck post RU for him.

I think what most of us are going to do now is another shorter cycle but using an anti prolactin drug while on RU and coming off, as when prolactin gets too high it can down regulate receptors as well like @gbol stated. I was going to wait a little longer as few of the other guys here who never tried RU are about to try a short 3 day cycle too. So a lot of experimentation going on, it is annoying because RU does actually work, the tricky part is just getting it to stick this time. So what we learned is prolactin is a much bigger issue than we anticipated for sure, towards the end of the 7 day cycle of RU, you can actually feel the high prolactin symptoms like sluggish, tired, horny but no desire to really get off, slower metabolism etc.

My next steps are I'm going to pick up some prami and run another RU cycle after I get some of the feedback from some of these guys who are doing the short cycle now.

TubZy, thanks for the updates! The shorter cycle will be ideal to avoid high prolactin. Waiting for mine still. I hope gbolduev drops by to visit more often. I miss seeing his posts.

In the initial clomid protocols it was about caber, zinc and nad.
Caber now seems necessary for RU after all, how does the theory relate to the cofacters? Would zinc +nad help here?
Great update btw!

Yeah, I need his input on a few things too. I just checked skype seems like he left me message late Saturday, so I told him to jump back on the forum soon as a few of us have some questions.

There were improvements above baseline but we all took it too long and prolactin got out of hand. I personally believe that it should be taken in short cycles otherwise once prog tanks then ru will just agonize the prog receptors.

I also think that if someone is going to take longer ru cycles then they should also take exogenous progesterone so that ru always has progesterone to compete with. This will insure that ru will ONLY antagonize the prog receptors which is the only way to make them more sensitive. Rn I'm experimenting with inositol

What about taking zinc while on RU since zinc increases prog? Gbol was hesitant while taking zinc post cycle RU only, not sure he said anything about while on.

I'm sure that would be fine. My first cycle I took plenty of zinc. 50mg on day 2 and 50mg for 3 days post cycle with maganese n other cofactors.

update from Gbol:

hey, I will be on the forum tomorrow
I was stuck on the road
I think it may have to do that with the longer cycle
it effects cortisol
too much

Have you had any bounce back yet? Are you about 2 weeks off?

No bounce back yet, but I do feel better than baseline though. I did do a 10 day water fast right before RU so it could be a mixture of both RU and fasting hard to tell right now. My digestion and cortisol sensitivity improved tremendously, I barely eat anymore and feel great. I just updated the log with the remaining details, but I think I got a much better grasp on what is going on at this point. Shorter cycles and use an anti prolactin/cortisol.

If you need an anti-prolactin/cortisol drug cyproheptadine may be a good choice as it accomplishes both at the level of the pituitary. It also raises SOD.

However, I am unsure how a calcium blocker like cypro would affect RU - so that may be worth looking into. Cypro's effects are systemic and the potential for interaction is greater vs. drugs with more specificity.
