Autophagy is also caused not during fasting. It always happens. Saw even that sugar increases autophagy (Study) which carnivore/keto people would get a heart attack over that notion and start sperging out.
Maybe higher during fast. But you also slow your metabolism down which means you excrete less toxicns and toxic metals = Slow down progress if this is the issue you deal with.
The only reason I look at how they look is because they claim fasting keeps them young. I don't give a shit about how people look personally. I hate health information, studies and diet/anti aging guru's. Absolute despise it. The only reason I know stuff is because I had to learn to make my life livable again. I will never ever do anything in the health sphere, it's a terrible space with intellectual narcissistic secret kings.
I don't even give a shit about TEI or ARL. It worked for me and I am happy with that. I did it for 1,5 years. After that started my own stuff. I even said Dr. Wilson looked like crap like 4 years ago. Never claimed it is "anti aging"
A lot of it is about genes and hormone balance in the womb. That sets you up for good body chemistry. But with diet and supplements you can help your body get into better body chemistry and even get close to the health of people who were born healthy. But you start at 0% and those people who are healthy are already at 80%... it takes a lot to make your health better. So you start with a big big big gap... and those people who are healthy can focus on other stuff. Brain works better and faster, not as depressed, etc.
Eventually you will die. People who were born healthy had much more time living life in a way vs. a guy who had to fix his health for a few years. Some take probably 7-10 years to get full potential. That's almost 10 years of your life where the healthy person was living life to the max.
