Very similar, except I was on RU for way shorter. RU killed my digestion after a few days. Var killed my appetite. In the end, they both block cortisol which turns on adrenaline. It seems like both stop potassium wasting as my skin and face and everything is super nice and defined. What we think is that they both block cortisol and RU lowers prog and var upregulates prog. I think RU is stronger but at the same time is more expensive and harder to obtain. So like we talked about earlier longer low dose RU cycles was talked about (like weeks), but we still don't know with RU. What we do know is that people with higher hormones like T levels do better on var, while others like
@Niles who had low T levels felt worse with var. I think that makes sense because var is suppressive in that respect (15mg cuts T levels close to 40%) so if you factor in low T levels that could be problematic. I got my T levels tested pre and post var so we can so how much it suppressed me.
Overall, if you compare them RU I felt best for a few days but followed by super high adrenaline and horrible digestion. Var was more consistent especially right around the second week when it was pretty built in my system, I felt good all day long (just felt normal, no crazy adrenaline surges or very bad digestion). That is why I wanted to stay on a long cycle to see how I would change over time, but its okay lets see what the tests come back with.
