@Walker

Yup it’s all just healing reactions. The bad in the body is dying. Body is removing what shouldn’t be in there.

Taking copper today for first time really ever cuz I was previously copper toxic. Now deficient. I just feel my body far more capable of detoxing itself.

I get these feelings from Lyme- like “herx” is when body is overwhelmed by toxins. I call it “detox” when I can feel my body completely controlling the herx. This detox is just stronger more efficient, feel good, happy feelings.

Lol I’m a weirdo but these are the things you learn when you’re trying to figure yourself out.

Crazy, man. I would've said I was in the best shape of my life and best health of my life prior to this......body does a great job of hiding "the bad" that is dying off.

Completed my favorite annual tradition at the end of last week......the trip to the local VA hospital. Man, yeah......what outstanding health care. Same doc I've always seen, ordered a standard blood test (yay), figured I'd post the results on here since they include electrolytes, liver enzymes, cholesterol, etc..... Ironically, things that were sky high in my hair test aren't high in blood. Not sure if that is to be expected or not.....

Ending my first cycle at six weeks tomorrow (42 days on TEI), going to get a haircut next week to do scalp sample for next run. I don't feel as bad anymore as far as being run down goes, but the motivation to do stuff is still taking an impact. Definitely feel much better from a general wellness standpoint than I did earlier on in the "cycle". Not sure that I will feel any sort of benefits after going off, given that I'm not treating PFS.......but, I'm definitely looking forward to having some motivation back while I wait on my next results.

Going to keep on, keeping on.....I'll give it a six months to a year to see if it impacts PTSD at all, if not - on to the next thing I guess.

Random question for @Helen or anyone really that has some knowledge on this.....

I remember you stating to me a few months ago in a post that anesthesia can cause people to have issues and such like that. I am going to undergo a minor ankle surgery in a few weeks and I am curious if there’s anything I can do to prep or prevent any ill effects from that. I’ve never had an issue with anesthesia before with PTSD, for what it’s worth.

I too had general anesthesia while on acc for eye surgery and that was not the best idea I had.

Some would say to fast, drink a lot of water and go to the sauna after the surgery to eliminate the product they inject faster.
Can't vouch for it but that makes sense

Also vit C and liver support (SAMe, TUDCA, ..)

If you're afraid of cognitive impairment I've read that gotu kola helps promotes the growth of new connective tissue and accelerates wound healing

Yeah, I had general anesthesia during my saw palmetto run and I’ve always wondered if that had anything to do with it. I don’t know that I’m necessarily afraid of anything, I just don’t want to have any ill effects if I can avoid it. Thanks for the tips. I’ll try to utilize some of those things. I’ll be off TEI while I do this I guess.

I wouldn't worry too much about anasthesia messing up PFS/PSSD results (may not be true for everyone). I did have stomach surgery while crashing from Fin (it was pretty tough). For sure, the pain killers worsened double vision, digestion issues (expected a bit, but stomach was getting way worse from crashing). And inability to think properly.
No anasthesia, I'd probably scream in pain (usually or rarely ever have, but that surgery was intense -- and one fear I had for sure). It was a pretty rough experience but mostly due to PFS. Now, I'd not worry if needing general anasthesia for surgery. Of course avoiding surgery if I can. And I'd be concerned taking it with TEI. But it's usually a one time thing.

Like say I was on TEI, and having wisdom teeth removed...... if it was right to remove them and I needed local anasthetic I'd get it. Say I had appendicitis and it was an emergency, where there was a rupture (not treating it at that time, can cause death -- bacteria spillage), I'd be fine with the anasthesia. I may start or consider getting tested again months later.

I did use eye drops - random infections occurred after TEI round 1 and on it. 2 eye infections (the gym), and also: the flu (or close enough. Pretty sure it was a flu... Many got an upper resp tract infection and eye infections same time). I will say that (luckily), TEI round 1 minus digestion issues was smooth for me.
-main difficulties were getting used to training less, as I wasn't on randro nor pct. More muscle pump/ fatigue, hence, less ability to workout a bit (still was pretty high).
-and the digestion issues. Hopefully round 2 is better. Will send out a hair sample soon, and maybe another one.

--IF this is after TEI, @Walker, I wouldn't even worry if it's needed (the anasthesia). OF course, I'd take local over general/sleep anasthesia.
--WOrst case (annoying), I'd try and keep it away from TEI. But I'd write Catherine to ask her. AND if it must be done, keep in mind ~ 89 or 88/90 days is just tei, surgery and anasthesia is probably 1/90 days in that time period.

@vicecaz, eye surgery no general anasthesia would be a nightmare wouldn't it? Or are there possible alternatives? Was it mandatory?

Yeah, to be more clear I’m not at all worried from the PFS side, that’s done and over with. I just don’t want to erase any progress or make anything worse from the PTSD side. I’ll write to Catherine to see. Shouldn’t be a big issue. Probably making a bigger deal out of it than I should. I am sending my scalp sample in for my next test today. It will be a month before my surgery (or close), so I'll probably be back on a program before the surgery.

Question of the day: Any problem with continuing to take digestive enzymes while on break from TEI? I figured it couldn’t hurt given my lack of gallbladder......but all I read is don’t take anything while on break. Been off a week and still have the general blah feeling. Shipped hair sample (scalp) on Friday.

Lol......just got my results from my second hair test. @Boris @Helen @bruschi11 @Goose12

Ok, so either TEI helped a ton in just a month and a half of supplements, or my original test using axillary hair was totally fucked. Here’s my latest test using scalp hair, versus axillary hair the first time around. Maybe the CDsnuts protocol does more balancing than we believe?

Check it out:

no you were 4 highs. and you had all symptoms of 4 highs. they slowed your cortisol down,

4 highs rebalances very fast, I rebalanced 4 highs in 1 month

4 highs is just super high cortisol in slow oxidation which should never happen since it cause potassium losses, and this causes PTSD thing

you see now they put you back into slow oxidation and lowered your cortisol.

now they will start rebuilding adrenal gland and metabolism

mostly fat oxidation. and adrenaline system

as of now your adrenaline system is not working.

in 2 more cycles you would be more balanced

4 highs they usually rec to do very short cycle, for the first cycle,

read WIlson's site

since 4 highs is slow oxidizers On STILTS

meaning CDnuts protocol caused extra super stress and the body managed to raise cortisol in slow oxidation, which it should never do

this fixes sugar problems and energy but causes huge anxiety, since potassium is zero.

Interesting. Well glad to hear the explanation for it. I thought that was super fast for all of that to change, but makes me feel better that you can explain for it.

Surprisingly, my supplements didn’t change too much at all, they just added a Vitamin E supplement and Copper supplement and pulled the ZMC (zinc and such) supplement.

just looked again at your first test, almost looked like my first hairtest

I had crazy PTSD after death of my wife.

I guess huge stress . my hairtest looked like yours, also insane numbers.

Interesting - the coming out of four highs section on that link describes exactly how I feel. A little more tired but much more calm and relaxed.

yeah, that is why I felt also when I came down, I had panic attacks in 4 highs, since potassium was being lost huge.

@Walker you have cramps or muscle contracture? Like the muscles around neck nad back are rigid?

Nah, not really. I’ve noticed a few cramps in my legs here and there and had a few foot cramps (Charlie horses) that suck. But other than that I haven’t noticed anything.
