Interesting comment under Dr.Osborne video about ALA.
"Dr O. did not discuss much about the heavy metal detox capabilities. ALA moved inorganic mercury INTO the brains of mice in the Gregus study. Andy Cutler, PhD Chemistry warns people to avoid ALA in the months after amalgam dental filling removal. A very dear friend made that mistake and it cost her greatly. In the months after amalgam removal she was initially only tolerating roughly 40mg of the mild chelator, DMPS, daily. She accidentally took 100mg ALA for 10 days and became a mental and emotional mess, her muscles stiffened, struggled to sleep, had more fatigue, neuropathy that she never experienced prior, but the worst symptom was "burning brain." She said she thought she was going to die. 7 years later she was dead from brain cancer even though she ate an organic diet, no alcohol, got some exercise. I've seen lots of reports in detox support groups from people who could not tolerate more than tiny doses of ALA. I'm fairly sensitive to it myself and had a history of lead and cadmium toxicity that has been greatly improved for a decade after a couple years of HM detox (Cutler)."
I think I will not mess with ALA for now lol..
