@Helen also will taking b2 temporarily lower my bioavailable copper until it gets it up again?

Slayo's PFS Log- is recovery possible for me ?

Have you had your b1 and b2 tested? I saw you had low copper. My b2 came back low which could explain my low copper. Wondering if it’s the same for you?

Does this look like this is all that’s missing based on my results? Anything else that I need to keep in mind if it doesn’t provide a total cure?

    Orion Log

So I need to high dose b2 to get it back up? I’ll wait for @Helen to comment before I launch into taking the b2. It seems like a pretty obvious cause of my high cortisol and low copper but I’ll wait till he gives me the green light before starting just to make sure there’s nothing else I need...

Check out my latest test results. B1 is high and b2 is on the low side. Might explain some of our issues.

@Helen So with copper low in hair test but normal in blood, and with b1 high in blood and b2 low, is it just as simple as taking b2 for me? Which will get b1 to b2 ratio balanced - get b1 down to get cortisol down and get b2 up to get copper working. Am I correct in this approach? Anything...

Interesting. You still don't get any hair loss? I thought the itch I got was signalling baldness coming.

So did you have an itchy scalp prior to pfs but with no hair loss?

Haha just doing my due diligence before I decide my plan of action when I get my b1 and b2 bloods back. I ticked urgent on the form so I’ll ring the lab tomorrow to see if that has shortened the wait.

Could not having copper being available due to histidine or b2 result in my low copper in my hair test?

Oh right interesting. I’ll check my b2 when it comes back. I took a heap of whey when I took the potassium so I’d have got a fair bit of histidine out of that. I have histidine here on its own anyway so can always try that if my b2 comes back normal.

Is copper dependent on any b vitamins at all? If I am low in any bs, will this cause copper to be low? Or stay low?

Right thanks. And if it’s due to copper being too low, how do we get that up? When my hair test is good and bloods are good. And my histamines are too high as I react to foods instantly upon chewing all the time.

    Troy log - test results

Just been thinking as I wait for my results. Let’s assume my b1 and b2 come back low. I didn’t get the other bs tested but a lot of them would likely be low. My issue is I need to raise my copper. Won’t taking the bs lower my copper? Or is it a necessary evil to lower the copper first by...

Thanks for the info. Very interesting. @Helen Should I wait for my b1 and b2 results before starting any b vitamin protocols? If I were to start taking bs, should I start off with just b1 and b2 or even just one of them?
